Slow down before tight turns
Twenty knots on a monitor produces the visual sensation of about ten. The advice to "taxi at a walking pace" cannot fix this, because your sense of walking pace is exactly the thing that's broken. Put the groundspeed readout in your scan and obey it for the next fifty flights, the way a student pilot leans on the airspeed indicator before learning to read attitude.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 3,567 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 750 m past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with the aircraft taxiing from the parking area to the runway at Cologne Bonn Airport, taking approximately 3 minutes to cover less than 1 nautical mile. The departure roll took place on runway 14L, with the takeoff distance covering 38% of the runway's length. The aircraft lifted off at a speed of 154 knots, and the local weather conditions at the time were characterized by a temperature of 8°C, with a wind speed of 4 knots from a direction of 180°.
The crosswind component was 2 knots, while the headwind component was 3 knots. As the aircraft took off, it began its enroute climb, which started overhead Cologne Bonn Airport. The climb took the aircraft from an altitude of 1,313 feet above sea level to 37,192 feet above sea level, an increase of 35,879 feet, in 21 minutes and covering a distance of 135 nautical miles.
Following the enroute climb, the aircraft entered a level cruise phase, which started 1 mile north-east of Donnersdorf, Germany. This phase lasted for 86 minutes and covered a distance of 645 nautical miles. The aircraft then began its enroute descent, which started 1 mile north-east of Bogdanesti, Romania. The descent took the aircraft from an altitude of 37,578 feet above sea level to 1,751 feet above sea level, a decrease of 35,827 feet, in 21 minutes and covering a distance of 106 nautical miles.
The final approach to runway 08 at Chişinău International Airport was made from the west, with the aircraft heading 88.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,402 feet above ground level. The landing took place on a runway with a length of 3,567 meters, and the threshold height was good. The threshold speed was slightly above the target speed at 140 knots.
The touchdown point was 333 meters beyond the touchdown zone, and the touchdown speed was 130 knots, which was a little fast. The touchdown rate was firm at -362 feet per minute, and the runway touchdown alignment was perfect. The local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of -3°C, with a wind speed of 4 knots from a direction of 9°. The crosswind component was 4 knots, while the headwind component was 1 knot.
The total landing distance was 1,433 meters, which was 40% of the runway's length. The runway rollout alignment was very good. The aircraft then taxied to the parking area from the runway, taking approximately 1 minute to cover less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 901 nautical miles, and the flight duration was 147 minutes. The aircraft used a total of 5,576 kilograms of fuel during the flight.
The Airbus A320 successfully landed on runway 08 at LUKK Chişinău International Airport, achieving a score of 87.1%. The aircraft approached the runway from the west, heading 88.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,402 feet above ground level (agl). The landing was executed on a runway with a length of 3,567 meters, providing ample space for the aircraft to touch down safely.
The threshold height was reported as good, indicating that the aircraft was at the correct altitude as it approached the runway. However, the threshold speed was slightly above the target speed, registering at 140 knots. This minor deviation from the target speed did not appear to have any significant impact on the landing.
The touchdown point was located 333 meters beyond the touchdown zone, which is a relatively short distance. The touchdown speed of 130 knots was slightly faster than the desired speed, resulting in a firm touchdown rate of -362 feet per minute (fpm). Despite this, the runway touchdown alignment was perfect, indicating that the aircraft was well-aligned with the runway as it touched down.
The local weather conditions at the time of the landing were characterized by a temperature of -3°C and a wind speed of 4 knots from a direction of 9°. The crosswind component was 4 knots, while the headwind component was 1 knot. These conditions did not appear to have any significant impact on the landing.
The total landing distance was 1,433 meters, which is approximately 40% of the runway length. This is a relatively short landing distance, indicating that the aircraft was able to touch down and come to a stop quickly. The runway rollout alignment was also reported as very good, indicating that the aircraft was well-aligned with the runway as it rolled out after touchdown.
Overall, the landing was executed safely and efficiently, with the aircraft touching down on the runway and coming to a stop without incident. While there were some minor deviations from the target speed and touchdown speed, these did not appear to have any significant impact on the landing.
