MY FS FLIGHTS
Flight Score
Work on the flare
Arrive slow and the sink rate at the threshold is already above schedule, the flare is short because there is no energy to extend it, and the touchdown is hard in a way that feels exactly like a late flare. Diagnosing a slow arrival as a late flare is the catastrophic misread: you respond by flaring earlier, which bleeds more speed, which makes the next one worse. The tiebreaker is threshold speed against VRef, not feel. Never diagnose a flare without it.

Two stabilised approach gates, each with five checks, where the approach path is 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 2,795 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 654 m past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
Departing from Fuerteventura Airport, the Airbus A321 began its journey with a taxiing phase that lasted 9 minutes and covered 2 nautical miles. As it reached the runway, it initiated its departure roll on runway 01, accelerating to a liftoff speed of 166 knots. The takeoff distance of 884 meters accounted for 45% of the runway length, with a local temperature of 20°C and a gentle headwind of 1 knot.
As the aircraft climbed away from the Canary Islands, it transitioned into an enroute climb phase, ascending from 871 feet above sea level to 32,009 feet in 25 minutes, covering a distance of 174 nautical miles. The climb was characterized by a significant increase in altitude, with a total ascent of 31,139 feet. Following this, the aircraft entered a level cruise phase, which lasted for 181 minutes and covered 1,450 nautical miles. This was followed by a series of enroute descents, with the first one starting over Schieren, Luxembourg, and the second one beginning near Offenbach, Germany. The final approach to runway 25R at Frankfurt Airport was initiated from the east, with a heading of 250.0° and a height of 1,999 feet above ground level.
The landing on runway 25R was executed with a threshold height slightly above the target, but the threshold speed was good at 147 knots. The touchdown point was 242 meters beyond the touchdown zone, with a touchdown speed of 140 knots, which was a little fast. The touchdown rate was firm at -391 feet per minute, and the runway touchdown alignment was very good. The total landing distance of 1,365 meters accounted for 49% of the runway length. Following the landing, the aircraft taxied to the parking area, taking 11 minutes and covering 3 nautical miles. The total flight distance was 1,835 nautical miles, with a total flight time of 261 minutes and a fuel consumption of 12,379 kilograms.
The final approach to runway 25R at EDDF Frankfurt Airport from the east, heading 250.0° at 4 nm and 1,999 ft agl, was executed with a high degree of precision. The aircraft maintained a stable and controlled descent throughout the approach, with a slight deviation from the target threshold height of 57 ft agl. However, the threshold speed of 147 kt was well within the acceptable range, indicating a good control of the aircraft's energy state.
As the aircraft touched down on the runway, it was noted that the touchdown point was 242 m beyond the touchdown zone, which is a slight deviation from the ideal touchdown location. The touchdown speed of 140 kt was a little fast, resulting in a firm touchdown rate of -391 fpm. Despite this, the runway touchdown alignment was very good, indicating a high level of control and precision during the landing. The local weather conditions, with a temperature of 0 °C and a wind of 2 kt at 360°, contributed to a relatively calm and stable environment for the landing.
The aircraft's rollout was characterized by perfect alignment with the centreline, demonstrating a high level of control and precision during the critical phase of the landing. The total landing distance of 1,365 m, which accounts for 49% of the runway length, was within acceptable limits. Overall, the landing was executed with a high degree of precision and control, resulting in a score of 94.7%.
