MY FS FLIGHTS
Flight Score
Smooth the climb
A good takeoff has a defined shape. It also has a defined end. For an airliner that's thrust reduction and acceleration, commonly somewhere around 1,000 to 1,500 ft above the airfield depending on the operator, while for a light aircraft it's established at Vy with the flaps on schedule. Most simmers have no defined end to their takeoff, which is exactly why it never gets judged.

Two stabilised approach gates, each with six checks at 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway. They are the approach's score: the checks passed out of the checks that ran.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 5,000 ft of the approach.
Plan view — the first 5,000 ft of the 7,993 ft runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 1,502 ft touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The Airbus A321neo taxied from the parking area to runway 36C at KCLT Charlotte Douglas International Airport in 18 minutes, covering 3 nm.
During the departure roll on runway 36C, the aircraft accelerated to a liftoff speed of 158 kt and left the ground after traveling 5,610 ft, representing 56 % of the runway; ambient temperature was 72 °F with a wind of 2 kt from 218°, a 1 kt cross-wind component and a 1 kt tail-wind component.
Climb commenced overhead KCLT, rising from 1,079 ft asl to 37,984 ft asl - a gain of 36,905 ft - in 41 minutes while covering 131 nm.
The first level cruise began 6 nm south of Gatlinburg, Tennessee, lasting 8 minutes and traversing 28 nm.
Descent started over TN98 Sky Ranch Airport, Knoxville, dropping from 37,758 ft asl to 20,098 ft asl - a loss of 17,660 ft - in 22 minutes and covering 65 nm.
A second cruise segment originated 5 nm northwest of Pikeville, Tennessee, lasting 7 minutes and extending 16 nm.
The next descent began 9 nm southeast of McMinnville, Tennessee, decreasing altitude from 19,927 ft asl to 10,559 ft asl - a loss of 9,368 ft - in 15 minutes over 29 nm.
A brief cruise followed 2 nm southeast of 62TN Meadow Lark Aerodrome, lasting 2 minutes and covering 3 nm.
Descent resumed 2 nm southwest of the same aerodrome, falling from 10,107 ft asl to 6,551 ft asl - a loss of 3,556 ft - in 7 minutes while traveling 12 nm.
The aircraft then cruised 2 nm northeast of TN65 Long Meadow Airstrip, Franklin, for 10 minutes, covering 17 nm.
A further descent began 2 nm northeast of TN81 Shultz Airport, Franklin, dropping from 5,989 ft asl to 4,434 ft asl - a loss of 1,555 ft - in 3 minutes across 5 nm.
Cruise continued 5 nm southeast of Franklin for 3 minutes, adding 4 nm to the flight path.
The final descent started 5 nm east of Franklin, reducing altitude from 3,968 ft asl to 1,830 ft asl - a loss of 2,138 ft - in 6 minutes and covering 7 nm.
On final approach to runway 02C at KBNA Nashville International Airport, the aircraft aligned from the south on a heading of 18.0° at 4 nm and 1,256 ft agl, then descended from 1,302 ft agl to 75 ft agl in 198 seconds, meeting the stabilisation gate criteria.
Landing on runway 02C was executed with a threshold speed of 138 kt, touchdown occurring 1,510 ft down the runway at 132 kt and a vertical speed of minus 154 fpm; the runway length is 7,993 ft, the total landing distance recorded was 3,541 ft (44 % of the runway), and local conditions were 76 °F with a 2 kt wind from 43°, a 1 kt cross-wind and a 2 kt head-wind component.
Runway rollout alignment was very good, completing the landing phase without deviation.
The aircraft taxied from the runway to the parking area in 10 minutes, covering less than 1 nm.
Overall, the flight covered 331nm, required 150 minutes of elapsed time, and consumed 5,930 lbs of fuel.
Airbus A321neo approached runway 02C at KBNA Nashville International Airport from the south on a heading of 18.0 ° at 4 nm and 1,256 ft agl. The final approach was assessed as stabilised at the 1,000 ft gate, with gear, flaps, sink rate, glideslope, centreline and speed all within limits, and the aircraft descended from 1,302 ft agl to 75 ft agl in 198 seconds.
At threshold the height was good and the aircraft established a threshold speed of 138 kt. Touchdown occurred 1,510 ft down the runway at a speed of 132 kt, with a touchdown rate of minus 154 fpm and perfect runway touchdown alignment.
The landing was completed on runway 02C, which is 7,993 ft long, and the total landing distance measured 3,541 ft, representing 44 % of the runway. Local weather was 76 °F with wind 2 kt from 43°, a crosswind component of 1 kt and a headwind component of 2 kt.
Runway rollout alignment was very good as the aircraft decelerated to a stop within the remaining runway length.
With a final score of 79.3 % the performance was solid; refining flare timing to keep the touchdown rate consistently low will further improve precision, and maintaining the very good rollout alignment will preserve runway usage efficiency.
