Maintain the centreline
A small uncorrected heading error at 40 knots becomes a metre of offset per second by 100 knots, noticed only at rotation, producing a crabbed liftoff. Root cause is nearly always eyes on the tape instead of the far end of the runway. Small heading changes displace a distant point visibly long before the nearby centreline stripes look wrong.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 3,299 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 523 m past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with the aircraft, an Airbus A319, taxiing from the parking area to the runway at EKAH Aarhus Airport. This process took 7 minutes and covered a distance of 2 nautical miles. The departure roll took place on runway 10R, with the aircraft taking off after covering 48% of the runway's length. The takeoff distance was 1,299 meters, and the liftoff speed was 136 knots.
As the aircraft climbed to a higher altitude, it encountered local weather conditions with a temperature of 15°C and wind speeds of 20 knots at 330°. The crosswind was 15 knots, while the tailwind was 13 knots. The enroute climb started 1 mile east of EKAH Aarhus Airport and continued for 7 minutes, covering a distance of 27 nautical miles. During this time, the aircraft climbed from an altitude of 1,126 feet above sea level to 15,400 feet above sea level, an increase of 14,274 feet.
As the aircraft approached its destination, it began its enroute descent 6 miles southwest of EK72 Sejeroe Gniben. The descent took 16 minutes, covering a distance of 63 nautical miles, and resulted in a decrease of 13,676 feet in altitude. The aircraft descended from 15,391 feet above sea level to 1,715 feet above sea level.
The final approach to runway 22L at EKCH Copenhagen Kastrup Airport was made from the north-east, with the aircraft heading 221.0° at an altitude of 1,694 feet above ground level and a distance of 4 nautical miles from the runway. However, the aircraft was forced to execute a go-around at an altitude of 1,171 feet above ground level.
The aircraft eventually landed on runway 22L, with a runway length of 3,299 meters. The threshold height was good, and the threshold speed was slightly above the target at 130 knots. The touchdown point was 98 meters beyond the touchdown zone, and the touchdown speed was 116 knots, which was considered good. However, the touchdown rate was hard at -425 feet per minute. The runway touchdown alignment was very good.
The local weather conditions at the time of landing were a temperature of 18°C and wind speeds of 24 knots at 240°. The crosswind was 8 knots, while the headwind was 23 knots. The total landing distance was 1,220 meters, which was 37% of the runway's length. The runway rollout alignment was slightly misaligned by 11.8 meters from the centerline.
After landing, the aircraft taxiied to the parking area, covering a distance of less than 1 nautical mile in less than 1 minute. The total flight distance was 101 nautical miles, and the flight duration was 45 minutes. The aircraft used 1,822 kilograms of fuel during the flight.
The Airbus A319 aircraft successfully landed at EKCH Copenhagen Kastrup Airport, achieving a score of 89.9%. The final approach was conducted from the north east, heading 221.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,694 feet above ground level (agl). The aircraft landed on runway 22L, which has a length of 3,299 meters.
The threshold height was reported as good, but the threshold speed was slightly above the target at 130 knots. The touchdown point was 98 meters beyond the touchdown zone, indicating a slight deviation from the ideal landing spot. However, the touchdown speed of 116 knots was within the acceptable range, and the touchdown rate of -425 feet per minute (fpm) was considered hard.
The runway touchdown alignment was very good, indicating that the aircraft was properly aligned with the runway during the landing. The local weather conditions at the time of landing included a temperature of 18°C, wind speed of 24 knots at 240°, resulting in a crosswind of 8 knots and a headwind of 23 knots.
The total landing distance was 1,220 meters, which is 37% of the runway length. This is a relatively short landing distance, indicating that the aircraft was able to touch down and come to a stop within a reasonable distance. However, the runway rollout alignment was slightly misaligned by 11.8 meters from the centerline, which may require further attention to ensure proper alignment during future landings.
Overall, the landing was considered successful, with the aircraft achieving a good touchdown speed and a relatively short landing distance. However, there were some minor deviations from the ideal landing spot and alignment, which may require further refinement to achieve a perfect score.
