MY FS FLIGHTS
Flight Score
Slow down before tight turns
Twenty knots on a monitor produces the visual sensation of about ten. The advice to "taxi at a walking pace" cannot fix this, because your sense of walking pace is exactly the thing that's broken. Put the groundspeed readout in your scan and obey it for the next fifty flights, the way a student pilot leans on the airspeed indicator before learning to read attitude.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
Two stabilised approach gates, each with seven checks, where the approach path is 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway. They are the approach's score: the checks passed out of the checks that ran.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 2,057 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 2,057 m of the 4,131 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 824 m past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
Departing from Nice-Côte d'Azur Airport, the Boeing 777-300 began its journey by taxiing from the parking area to the runway, a process that took approximately 8 minutes and covered a distance of 2 nautical miles. As it reached the runway threshold, the aircraft accelerated down runway 04R, taking off with a distance of 1,535 meters, which accounted for 52% of the runway's length. The aircraft lifted off at a speed of 174 knots, and with a local temperature of 26°C and a gentle headwind of 2 knots, the conditions were favorable for takeoff.
As the aircraft climbed out of Nice, it began its enroute climb, reaching an altitude of 32,993 feet above sea level in just 18 minutes, covering a distance of 127 nautical miles. The climb was followed by a prolonged level cruise, which lasted for 203 minutes and covered a distance of 1,707 nautical miles. The aircraft continued to climb and cruise, with notable increases in altitude and distance covered. Notably, the climb from 33,307 feet to 34,959 feet above sea level in just 2 minutes, covering 14 nautical miles, demonstrated the aircraft's impressive climb capabilities. The level cruise phase was punctuated by several climbs and descents, with the aircraft eventually beginning its descent into Suvarnabhumi Airport in Thailand.
As the aircraft began its final approach to runway 19L at Suvarnabhumi Airport, it was flying at an altitude of 1,259 feet above ground level and a distance of 4 nautical miles from the runway. The landing was executed with a total landing distance of 1,982 meters, which accounted for 49% of the runway's length. The touchdown point was 413 meters beyond the touchdown zone, and the touchdown speed was slightly above target at 143 knots. The runway touchdown alignment was perfect, and the runway rollout alignment was very good. After landing, the aircraft taxied to the parking area, a process that took approximately 4 minutes and covered a distance of 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 5,196 nautical miles, and the aircraft used 81,666 kilograms of fuel during the journey, which lasted for 630 minutes.
The Boeing 777-300 touched down on runway 19L at VTBS Suvarnabhumi Airport, demonstrating a satisfactory approach quality. The aircraft descended from 1,259 feet above ground level (agl) at a distance of 4 nautical miles from the runway, aligning with the heading of 194.0°. The approach was conducted in a local wind environment of 8 knots from 200°, resulting in a negligible crosswind component of 1 knot and a significant headwind component of 8 knots.
As the aircraft touched down 413 meters beyond the touchdown zone, the touchdown speed of 143 knots was slightly above the target value. However, the touchdown rate of -260 feet per minute was considered fair. The runway touchdown alignment was perfect, indicating a high degree of control and precision during the final stages of the approach. The threshold height at 70 feet agl was well above the target, while the threshold speed of 148 knots was slightly above the target value.
The total landing distance of 1,982 meters, accounting for 49% of the runway length, was within acceptable limits. The runway rollout alignment was very good, demonstrating a high level of control and precision during the deceleration phase. Overall, the landing performance of the Boeing 777-300 was satisfactory, with a score of 89.5%. The aircraft's ability to manage the headwind and maintain a stable approach quality contributed to a successful landing.
