Improve the rollout
A crosswind landing is a geometry problem. The air mass you're flying in is moving sideways across the runway, and you need your ground track down the centreline with your wheels aligned to it at the moment of contact. There are two techniques that will help, the crab and the sideslip.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 4,001 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 389 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight in question was operated by the Citation CJ3+ aircraft, registered as N60US. The flight began with an enroute level cruise that started 15 miles south of Turkan, Baku City, Azerbaijan, and lasted for 3 minutes, covering a distance of 13 nautical miles.
As the flight progressed, the aircraft entered an enroute descent phase, which started 17 miles south east of Badamdar, Baku City, Azerbaijan. During this phase, the aircraft descended from an altitude of 8,282 feet above sea level to 1,260 feet above sea level, a decrease of 7,022 feet in 6 minutes, covering a distance of 20 nautical miles.
The final approach to runway 34 at UBBB Heydar Aliyev International Airport was made from the south, heading 346.0° at 4 nautical miles and 1,257 feet above ground level. Taxiing from the parking to the runway took 5 minutes and covered less than 1 nautical mile.
The departure roll from runway 01 at UTSB Bukhara International Airport was successful, with a takeoff distance of 534 meters, which was 18% of the runway length. The liftoff speed was 126 knots, and the local weather conditions were characterized by a temperature of 36°C, wind speed of 21 knots at 350°, crosswind of 7 knots, and headwind of 19 knots.
The enroute climb phase started overhead UTSB Bukhara International Airport and lasted for 15 minutes, during which the aircraft climbed from 1,769 feet above sea level to 41,944 feet above sea level, an increase of 40,175 feet, covering a distance of 73 nautical miles.
The flight then entered an enroute level cruise phase, which started 21 miles north of Seydi, Mary, Turkmenistan, and lasted for 24 minutes, covering a distance of 462 nautical miles.
As the flight continued, the aircraft entered another enroute descent phase, which started 12 miles north west of UTAK Turkmenbashi International Airport, Turkmenbashi, Balkan, Turkmenistan. During this phase, the aircraft descended from an altitude of 41,180 feet above sea level to 11,436 feet above sea level, a decrease of 29,744 feet in 16 minutes, covering a distance of 90 nautical miles.
The flight then entered another enroute level cruise phase, which started 15 miles north of Neft Daslari, Baku City, Azerbaijan, and lasted for 3 minutes, covering a distance of 15 nautical miles.
The landing on runway 34 at UBBB Heydar Aliyev International Airport was successful, with a touchdown distance of 390 meters, which was good, and a touchdown speed of 91 knots, which was also good. However, the touchdown rate was fair at -243 feet per minute, and the runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned by 7.5 meters from the centreline.
The local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of 28°C, wind speed of 26 knots at 330°, crosswind of 7 knots, and headwind of 25 knots.
The total landing distance was 824 meters, which was 21% of the runway length, and the runway rollout alignment was slightly misaligned by 14.2 meters from the centreline.
Taxiing to the parking from the runway took less than 1 minute and covered less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 737 nautical miles, and the flight duration was 81 minutes, with a fuel consumption of 958 kilograms.
The aircraft, Citation CJ3+ N60US, successfully landed at UBBB Heydar Aliyev International Airport, scoring a high 93.2% on its landing performance. The aircraft approached the runway from the south, heading 346.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,257 feet above ground level (agl). The pilot successfully landed the aircraft on runway 34, which has a length of 4,001 meters.
The landing was executed with good threshold height, indicating that the aircraft was at the correct height as it touched down on the runway. The threshold speed of 110 knots was also within the acceptable range, demonstrating the pilot's ability to control the aircraft's speed during the landing. The touchdown distance of 390 meters was also good, indicating that the pilot had sufficient control over the aircraft's descent.
However, there were some minor issues with the landing. The touchdown speed of 91 knots was good, but the touchdown rate of -243 feet per minute (fpm) was only fair. This suggests that the pilot may have been able to control the aircraft's descent more smoothly. Additionally, the runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned by 7.5 meters from the centerline, indicating that the pilot may have been slightly off-center during the landing.
The local weather conditions at the time of the landing were favorable, with a temperature of 28°C and a wind speed of 26 knots from 330°. This resulted in a crosswind of 7 knots and a headwind of 25 knots, which the pilot successfully managed during the landing. The total landing distance of 824 meters was 21% of the runway length, indicating that the pilot had sufficient control over the aircraft's descent and rollout.
During the rollout, the aircraft's alignment was slightly misaligned by 14.2 meters from the centerline, indicating that the pilot may have been slightly off-center during the rollout. However, overall, the landing was successful, and the pilot demonstrated good control over the aircraft during the approach, landing, and rollout phases.
