Maintain the centreline
A small uncorrected heading error at 40 knots becomes a metre of offset per second by 100 knots, noticed only at rotation, producing a crabbed liftoff. Root cause is nearly always eyes on the tape instead of the far end of the runway. Small heading changes displace a distant point visibly long before the nearby centreline stripes look wrong.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 2,795 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 699 m past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with the Airbus A320 taxiing from the parking area to the runway at Dublin Airport, taking 14 minutes and covering a distance of 6 nautical miles. The aircraft then departed from runway 10R, with a takeoff distance of 1,270 meters, which was 49% of the runway length. The liftoff speed was 158 knots, and the local weather conditions at the time of departure were a temperature of 11°C, with a wind speed of 25 knots at 189 degrees.
As the aircraft climbed to its cruising altitude, it started its enroute climb 1 mile north east of Ballymun, Ireland, at an altitude of 1,176 feet above sea level. The climb continued for 14 minutes, covering a distance of 166 nautical miles, and resulted in an increase of 33,464 feet in altitude, reaching a maximum altitude of 34,640 feet above sea level.
The enroute level cruise started overhead Holmesfield, Derbyshire, England, and lasted for 21 minutes, covering a distance of 318 nautical miles. The aircraft then began its enroute descent 1 mile north east of Krefeld-Egelsberg Airfield, Germany, and descended from 35,150 feet above sea level to 9,008 feet above sea level, a decrease of 26,142 feet in altitude, in 16 minutes, covering a distance of 91 nautical miles.
The aircraft then entered another enroute level cruise, starting 2 miles south east of Michelbach Airfield, Germany, and lasting for 2 minutes, covering a distance of 10 nautical miles. The enroute descent started 2 miles south west of Eppstein, Germany, and the aircraft descended from 8,411 feet above sea level to 5,253 feet above sea level, a decrease of 3,158 feet in altitude, in 9 minutes, covering a distance of 41 nautical miles.
The aircraft then entered another enroute level cruise, starting 2 miles east of Bad Orb, Germany, and lasting for 7 minutes, covering a distance of 22 nautical miles. The enroute descent started 1 mile south east of Maintal, Germany, and the aircraft descended from 4,872 feet above sea level to 1,719 feet above sea level, a decrease of 3,153 feet in altitude, in 3 minutes, covering a distance of 10 nautical miles.
The final approach to runway 25R at Frankfurt Airport was made from the east, heading 250.0 degrees, at an altitude of 1,371 feet above ground level, and a distance of 4 nautical miles from the runway threshold. The landing was made on runway 25R, which had a length of 2,795 meters. The threshold height was slightly above the target, but the threshold speed was good at 130 knots.
The touchdown point was 280 meters beyond the touchdown zone, with a touchdown speed of 124 knots, which was good, and a touchdown rate of -316 feet per minute, which was firm. The runway touchdown alignment was perfect, and the local weather conditions at the time of landing were a temperature of 12°C, with a wind speed of 15 knots at 179 degrees.
The total landing distance was 1,158 meters, which was 41% of the runway length. The runway rollout alignment was very good, and the aircraft then taxied to the parking area, taking 3 minutes and covering a distance of less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 671 nautical miles, and the flight duration was 87 minutes, with a fuel consumption of 727 kilograms.
The Airbus A320 successfully landed on runway 25R at Frankfurt Airport (EDDF) with a score of 95.0%. The aircraft was approaching the runway from the east, heading 250.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,371 feet above ground level (agl). The pilot executed a precise final approach, taking into account the local weather conditions.
The temperature at the time of landing was 12°C, with a wind speed of 15 knots blowing from 179°. This resulted in a crosswind of 14 knots and a headwind of 5 knots. Despite these conditions, the pilot maintained control of the aircraft and ensured a smooth landing. The threshold height at 60 feet agl was slightly above the target, but the threshold speed of 130 knots was within the acceptable range.
Upon touchdown, the aircraft's speed was 124 knots, which was good, and the touchdown rate was firm at -316 feet per minute (fpm). The runway touchdown alignment was perfect, indicating that the pilot had successfully aligned the aircraft with the runway centerline. The touchdown point was 280 meters beyond the touchdown zone, which is a relatively short distance.
The total landing distance was 1,158 meters, accounting for 41% of the runway length. This is a relatively short landing distance, considering the aircraft's weight and the wind conditions. The runway rollout alignment was very good, indicating that the pilot had maintained control of the aircraft during the rollout phase.
Overall, the landing was successful, and the pilot demonstrated excellent skills and control of the aircraft. The score of 95.0% reflects the high level of proficiency and precision displayed during the landing.
