MY FS FLIGHTS
Flight Score
Arrival
Begin the flare with progressive back pressure and keep it coming until the sink is arrested, rather than flying it on flat.
What happened: The nose was barely raised in the flare and little of the sink was taken out, flying the aircraft onto the runway. This pattern usually carries through to a firm touchdown with a noticeable sink rate.
Watch for: Vertical speed indicator: a smoothly reducing sink through the normal flare band, not a steady rate into the runway.
There are several things that can go wrong during the flare, carrying too much speed over the threshold, starting the flare at the wrong height and inconsistent flight control inputs, all contribute to a poor flare resulting in a hard touchdown or a float down the runway.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
Two stabilised approach gates, each with seven checks, where the approach path is 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway. They are the approach's score: the checks passed out of the checks that ran.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 3,361 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 377 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The Boeing 737-600 taxied from the parking area to runway 26 at LTFG Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport in 3 minutes, covering less than 1 nm.
During the departure roll on runway 26, the aircraft accelerated over a distance of 1,111 m, representing 56 % of the runway, and lifted off at 149 kt; ambient temperature was 33 °C with a wind of 3 kt from 249°, a 1 kt cross-wind component and a 2 kt head-wind component.
Climb commenced approximately 1 mile west of LTFG, with the aeroplane climbing from 1,004 ft asl to 39,620 ft asl-a gain of 38,617 ft-over 40 minutes while covering 270 nm.
The first cruise segment began 2 miles east of Menderes (Izmir, Turkey) and continued for 190 minutes, during which the aircraft flew 1,412 nm at level altitude.
Descent was initiated 12 miles west of LECB Aeródromo de Caravaca de la Cruz, descending from 39,632 ft asl to 2,006 ft asl, a loss of 37,626 ft in 27 minutes and covering 173 nm.
A brief second cruise phase started 2 miles south of Carmona (Andalusia, Spain), lasting 2 minutes and spanning 7 nm.
The final approach to runway 27 at LEZL Sevilla Airport was conducted from the east, with the aircraft aligned on a heading of 270.0° at 4 nm and 1,291 ft agl.
Landing on runway 27 was achieved with a threshold speed of 127 kt; touchdown occurred 379 m down the runway at 121 kt and a vertical speed of minus 192 fpm, with runway alignment described as perfect. Local weather reported a temperature of 35 °C, wind 2 kt from 329°, a 1 kt cross-wind and a 1 kt head-wind. The total landing roll measured 870 m, equivalent to 26 % of the runway length.
Runway rollout alignment remained perfect as the aircraft decelerated to a stop after the touchdown.
Taxi-in to the parking area required 1 minute and covered less than 1 nm.
In total, the flight covered 1,869 nm, lasted 264 minutes, and consumed 11,078 kg of fuel.
The Boeing 737-600 achieved a final-approach score of 99.8 % on runway 27 at LEZL Sevilla Airport, arriving from the east on a heading of 270.0 deg at 4 nm and 1,291 ft agl. The approach was assessed as stabilised at the 1,000 ft gate, with gear, flaps, sink rate, glideslope and centreline all within limits.
At the threshold the runway length was 3,361 m and the threshold height was reported as good. The threshold speed was good at 127 kt.
Touchdown occurred 379 m down the runway; touchdown speed was 121 kt, noted as a little fast, while the vertical rate was good at minus 192 fpm and runway touchdown alignment was perfect.
The total landing distance was 870 m, representing 26 % of the runway, and rollout alignment was perfect.
Maintain the aim point near 300 m (1,000 ft) in and trim speed slightly below 121 kt to keep the touchdown speed within the optimal range, which will preserve the excellent overall performance.
