MY FS FLIGHTS
Flight Score
Work on the flare
Arrive slow and the sink rate at the threshold is already above schedule, the flare is short because there is no energy to extend it, and the touchdown is hard in a way that feels exactly like a late flare. Diagnosing a slow arrival as a late flare is the catastrophic misread: you respond by flaring earlier, which bleeds more speed, which makes the next one worse. The tiebreaker is threshold speed against VRef, not feel. Never diagnose a flare without it.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 1,542 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,542 m of the 2,738 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 384 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with taxiing from the parking area to the runway, which took 6 minutes and covered a distance of 1 nautical mile. The aircraft then departed from runway 27 at KFXE Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport, with a takeoff distance of 817 meters, which was 45% of the runway length. The liftoff speed was 139 knots.
As the aircraft took off, it encountered local weather conditions with a temperature of 29 degrees Celsius and a wind speed of 7 knots at 347 degrees. The crosswind was 7 knots, and the headwind was 1 knot. After departing from the airport, the aircraft began its enroute climb, which started overhead Palm Aire, Florida. The climb took 23 minutes and covered a distance of 146 nautical miles, with an increase in altitude from 1,039 feet above sea level to 44,581 feet above sea level, a total increase of 43,542 feet.
Following the enroute climb, the aircraft entered a level cruise, which started 4 miles south of Alafaya, Florida. This phase of the flight lasted for 77 minutes and covered a distance of 653 nautical miles. The aircraft then began its enroute descent, which started 6 miles east of Athens, Ohio. The descent took 21 minutes and covered a distance of 120 nautical miles, with a decrease in altitude from 43,950 feet above sea level to 2,144 feet above sea level, a total decrease of 41,805 feet.
As the aircraft approached its destination, it began its final approach to runway 06L at KCLE Cleveland Hopkins International Airport. The approach was made from the southwest, with a heading of 50.0 degrees at 4 nautical miles and 1,361 feet above ground level. The aircraft landed on the runway, with a touchdown distance of 381 meters, which was good. However, the touchdown speed was a little fast at 114 knots, and the touchdown rate was hard at -462 feet per minute.
The runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned by 4.3 meters from the centerline. The local weather conditions at the time of landing were a temperature of 23 degrees Celsius and a wind speed of 13 knots at 190 degrees. The crosswind was 8 knots, and the tailwind was 10 knots. The total landing distance was 1,456 meters, which was 53% of the runway length. The runway rollout alignment was very good.
After landing, the aircraft taxied to the parking area, which took 5 minutes and covered a distance of less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 927 nautical miles, and the flight duration was 133 minutes. The aircraft used 252 kilograms of fuel during the flight.
Aircraft C750 successfully landed on runway 06L at KCLE Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, achieving a score of 95.6%. The final approach was initiated from the southwest, heading 50.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,361 feet above ground level (agl).
The aircraft demonstrated good control during the approach, with a threshold height that met the required standards. The threshold speed was also satisfactory at 121 knots, indicating a smooth transition from the approach to the landing phase. However, the touchdown speed of 114 knots was slightly faster than the ideal speed, which may have contributed to a harder touchdown.
The touchdown distance of 381 meters was within the acceptable range, but the touchdown rate of -462 feet per minute (fpm) was considered hard. This may be attributed to the slightly fast touchdown speed. Additionally, the runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned by 4.3 meters from the centerline, which may require some adjustments during future approaches.
The local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of 23°C and winds of 13 knots at 190°. The crosswind component was 8 knots, while the tailwind component was 10 knots. These conditions may have affected the aircraft's performance during the landing phase.
The total landing distance of 1,456 meters was 53% of the runway length, which is within the acceptable range. The runway rollout alignment was very good, indicating that the aircraft was well-controlled during the rollout phase. Overall, the landing was successful, but some areas for improvement were identified, including the touchdown speed and rate.
