Improve the rollout
A crosswind landing is a geometry problem. The air mass you're flying in is moving sideways across the runway, and you need your ground track down the centreline with your wheels aligned to it at the moment of contact. There are two techniques that will help, the crab and the sideslip.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
Two stabilised approach gates, each with five checks, where the approach path is 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 2,512 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 316 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with the Airbus A320 taxiing from the parking area to the runway at London Heathrow Airport, taking 18 minutes and covering a distance of 4 nautical miles. The aircraft then departed from runway 27R, with a takeoff distance of 1,434 meters, which was 40% of the runway length. The liftoff speed was 165 knots.
The local weather conditions at the time of departure were characterized by a temperature of 18 degrees Celsius and a wind speed of 20 knots from a direction of 250 degrees. This resulted in a crosswind of 7 knots and a headwind of 19 knots. The aircraft climbed to an altitude of 5,842 feet above sea level, an increase of 4,746 feet from the initial altitude of 1,096 feet, in just 2 minutes and covering a distance of 7 nautical miles.
The enroute climb continued, with the aircraft reaching a cruising altitude of 22,423 feet above sea level, an increase of 16,590 feet from the previous altitude, in 7 minutes and covering a distance of 47 nautical miles. The aircraft then entered a level cruise, lasting 12 minutes and covering a distance of 93 nautical miles, before beginning its descent towards Eindhoven Airport.
The descent started 10 miles north-west of Ouddorp, The Netherlands, and took 14 minutes to cover a distance of 69 nautical miles, during which the aircraft descended from 22,303 feet above sea level to 1,355 feet above sea level. The final approach to runway 21 at Eindhoven Airport was made from the north-east, with the aircraft heading 215.0 degrees at an altitude of 1,275 feet above ground level and a distance of 4 nautical miles from the runway.
The landing on runway 21 was successful, with a touchdown distance of 317 meters, which was 49% of the runway length. The touchdown speed was slightly fast at 127 knots, but the touchdown rate was firm at -374 feet per minute. However, the runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned by 3.1 meters from the centreline. The local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of 12 degrees Celsius and a wind speed of 14 knots from a direction of 250 degrees, resulting in a crosswind of 8 knots and a headwind of 12 knots.
The total landing distance was 1,239 meters, and the runway rollout alignment was slightly misaligned by 9.6 meters from the centreline. The aircraft then taxied to the parking area, taking 9 minutes and covering a distance of less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 250 nautical miles, and the flight duration was 63 minutes, during which the aircraft used 2,222 kilograms of fuel.
The Airbus A320 successfully landed at Eindhoven Airport, achieving a score of 94.9%. The aircraft approached the runway from the north-east, heading 215.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,275 feet above ground level (agl). The pilot executed a precise final approach, taking into account the local weather conditions, which included a temperature of 12°C and wind speeds of 14 knots at 250°.
Upon landing, the aircraft touched down on runway 21, which has a length of 2,512 meters. The threshold height was good, and the threshold speed was maintained at 133 knots, indicating a well-executed landing. The touchdown distance was also within acceptable limits at 317 meters. However, the touchdown speed of 127 knots was slightly faster than desired, which may have contributed to a firm touchdown rate of -374 feet per minute (fpm).
The runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned from the centreline by 3.1 meters, which may have been due to a slight deviation in the pilot's alignment during the final approach. The total landing distance of 1,239 meters was 49% of the runway length, indicating a relatively short landing distance.
During the rollout, the aircraft's alignment was slightly misaligned from the centreline by 9.6 meters. This may have been due to the pilot's continued deviation from the centreline during the rollout phase. Despite these minor deviations, the overall landing was considered successful, with the aircraft coming to a stop within a reasonable distance from the runway threshold.
