MY FS FLIGHTS
Flight Score
Work on the flare
Arrive slow and the sink rate at the threshold is already above schedule, the flare is short because there is no energy to extend it, and the touchdown is hard in a way that feels exactly like a late flare. Diagnosing a slow arrival as a late flare is the catastrophic misread: you respond by flaring earlier, which bleeds more speed, which makes the next one worse. The tiebreaker is threshold speed against VRef, not feel. Never diagnose a flare without it.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 4,001 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 642 m past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
While there are certainly areas for improvement in this aircraft landing performance, it's important to remember that every landing presents a learning opportunity. With an overall score of 85.0%, there were some clear strengths in the Touchdown Phase with on-target speed, despite a hard touchdown. Additionally, the Rollout Phase showed good alignment with the runway, albeit slightly off center.
Moving forward, focusing on the Approach Phase will be key to improving the overall landing performance. Ensuring a steady descent path within the glideslope limit will help set the stage for a smoother touchdown. Additionally, attention to the landing flare and threshold height in the Landing Phase will be essential in achieving a more controlled and precise landing.
It's encouraging to see that there were elements of the landing that were on target, and with some dedicated practice and attention to detail, there is great potential for improvement in future landings. Remember to take each landing as a valuable opportunity to refine skills and techniques, and with time and dedication, progress and success will surely follow. Keep up the hard work and positive attitude towards improvement.
