MY FS FLIGHTS
Flight Score
Smooth the climb
A good takeoff has a defined shape. It also has a defined end. For an airliner that's thrust reduction and acceleration, commonly somewhere around 1,000 to 1,500 ft above the airfield depending on the operator, while for a light aircraft it's established at Vy with the flaps on schedule. Most simmers have no defined end to their takeoff, which is exactly why it never gets judged.

Two stabilised approach gates, each with five checks, where the approach path is 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 2,722 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 445 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with the aircraft taxiing from the parking area to the runway, a process that took 6 minutes and covered less than 1 nautical mile. The Airbus A320 then departed from runway 21 at Eindhoven Airport (EHEH), with a takeoff distance of 1,132 meters, which accounted for 45% of the runway. The liftoff speed was 151 knots.
As the aircraft took off, it encountered local weather conditions with a temperature of 16°C and wind blowing at 16 knots from 179°. The crosswind was 9 knots, while the headwind was 13 knots. After departing from Eindhoven, the aircraft began its enroute climb, which started overhead the airport and took the aircraft up to 11,899 feet above sea level. This climb, which covered 24 nautical miles, took 6 minutes and involved an increase of 10,764 feet in altitude.
Following the climb, the aircraft entered a level cruise, which lasted for 6 minutes and covered 32 nautical miles. This phase of the flight took place 1 mile north-east of Rijsbergen, a location in the province of North Brabant, the Netherlands. The aircraft then began its enroute descent, which started 1 mile south-west of Heffen, a location in Flanders, Belgium. During this phase, the aircraft descended from 11,833 feet to 1,394 feet above sea level, a decrease of 10,439 feet in 9 minutes, covering 6 nautical miles.
As the aircraft approached Brussels Airport (EBBR), it began its final approach to runway 19 from the north, heading 194.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and 1,239 feet above ground level. The local weather conditions at Brussels Airport were characterized by a temperature of 13°C and wind blowing at 10 knots from 180°. The crosswind was 2 knots, while the headwind was 10 knots.
The aircraft landed on runway 19, which had a length of 2,722 meters. The threshold height was good, and the threshold speed was also satisfactory at 124 knots. The touchdown distance was good at 445 meters, and the touchdown speed was 116 knots, which was also satisfactory. However, the touchdown rate was fair at -258 feet per minute. The runway touchdown alignment was perfect, and the runway rollout alignment was also perfect after the aircraft came to a stop.
After landing, the aircraft taxied to the parking area, a process that took 6 minutes and covered less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 69 nautical miles, and the flight took 35 minutes to complete. The aircraft used 1,514 kilograms of fuel during the flight.
The Airbus A320 successfully landed at Brussels Airport (EBBR) on runway 19, achieving a high score of 99.6%. The aircraft was approaching the runway from the north, heading 194.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,239 feet above ground level (agl). The pilot maintained a good threshold height, which is a critical aspect of a safe landing.
Upon touchdown, the aircraft's speed was within the acceptable range, at 116 knots, and the touchdown distance was also satisfactory at 445 meters. The threshold speed of 124 knots was also well-managed, indicating a smooth and controlled descent. However, the touchdown rate of -258 feet per minute (fpm) was only fair, suggesting that the pilot could have maintained a more gradual descent.
The local weather conditions at the time of landing were favorable, with a temperature of 13°C and a moderate headwind of 10 knots from a direction of 180°. The crosswind component was minimal, at 2 knots, which made the landing even more manageable. The total landing distance of 932 meters was only 34% of the runway length, indicating that the pilot had sufficient control over the aircraft's descent and touchdown.
The runway touchdown alignment was perfect, and the rollout alignment was also satisfactory, indicating that the pilot had maintained control over the aircraft's direction and speed during the landing. Overall, the landing was a success, with the pilot demonstrating good control and management of the aircraft throughout the approach and touchdown phases.
