Avoid steep turns at low altitude
Below a thousand feet the aeroplane is slow, heavy and close to the ground. A steep turn loses lift, raises the stall speed and flattens the climb just when the gradient matters most. A normal turn on course is a rate one — fifteen degrees or so, twenty-five at the outside, this penalty is to acknowledge when a turn has stopped being a turn and become a manoeuvre.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,563 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,563 m of the 3,704 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 429 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
Congratulations on achieving a superb aircraft landing score of 94.3%! Your performance in each phase of the landing process shows a strong level of skill and precision.
In the Approach Phase, your excellent glideslope alignment indicates that you maintained the proper descent angle to line up with the runway. This is crucial for a smooth and stable approach to landing.
During the Landing Phase, your good threshold height control and very good landing flare demonstrate your ability to accurately judge the aircraft's height above the runway and execute a well-timed flare to cushion the touchdown.
While the Touchdown Phase had a firm touchdown rate and slightly higher speed than target, it's great to see that you were able to bring the aircraft to a stop within the touchdown zone. Additionally, your runway touchdown position being just 7.5 m from the centerline shows good alignment with the runway.
Lastly, in the Rollout Phase, maintaining runway alignment within 7.5 m of the centerline indicates your proficiency in keeping the aircraft on the correct path after touchdown.
Overall, your performance in each phase of the landing process is commendable. Keep up the excellent work and continue to fine-tune your skills to strive for even greater precision and consistency in your landings. Well done!
