Monitor your taxi speed
Twenty knots on a monitor produces the visual sensation of about ten. The advice to "taxi at a walking pace" cannot fix this, because your sense of walking pace is exactly the thing that's broken. Put the groundspeed readout in your scan and obey it for the next fifty flights, the way a student pilot leans on the airspeed indicator before learning to read attitude.

One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,575 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,575 m of the 2,560 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 680 m past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with a taxiing period from the parking to the runway, which took 9 minutes and covered a distance of 5 nautical miles. The aircraft, a Boeing 777F, then departed from runway 25C at Frankfurt Airport (EDDF). The takeoff distance was 1,541 meters, which is 39% of the runway length. The liftoff speed was 186 knots.
The local weather conditions at the time of departure were a temperature of 2°C, with a wind speed of 4 knots at 189°. The crosswind component was 3 knots, while the headwind component was 2 knots. The aircraft then began its enroute climb, starting 1 mile south of Kelsterbach, Germany, and climbing from 1,358 feet above sea level to 32,332 feet above sea level, an increase of 30,974 feet in 16 minutes, covering a distance of 92 nautical miles.
The enroute level cruise started overhead Diekirch, Luxembourg, and lasted for 155 minutes, covering a distance of 1,169 nautical miles. The aircraft then began another enroute climb, this time from 32,166 feet above sea level to 34,049 feet above sea level, an increase of 1,883 feet in 2 minutes, covering a distance of 16 nautical miles. The enroute level cruise started again, this time at a new location, and lasted for 192 minutes, covering a distance of 1,478 nautical miles.
The aircraft then began another enroute climb, this time from 34,060 feet above sea level to 36,048 feet above sea level, an increase of 1,988 feet in 4 minutes, covering a distance of 35 nautical miles. The enroute level cruise started again, this time 58 miles east of Sable Island Landing Strip, Sable Island, Canada, and lasted for 697 minutes, covering a distance of 589 nautical miles.
As the aircraft approached its destination, it began its enroute descent, starting 3 miles northeast of Wyoming, Rhode Island, and descending from 35,637 feet above sea level to 19,856 feet above sea level, a decrease of 15,781 feet in 7 minutes, covering a distance of 43 nautical miles. The enroute level cruise started again, this time 1 mile south of Shelter Island, New York, and lasted for 2 minutes, covering a distance of 14 nautical miles.
The aircraft then began its final descent, starting 1 mile west of Northville, New York, and descending from 19,889 feet above sea level to 1,227 feet above sea level, a decrease of 18,662 feet in 17 minutes, covering a distance of 58 nautical miles. The final approach to runway 04R at John F. Kennedy International Airport (KJFK) was from the southwest, heading 31.0° at 4 nautical miles and 1,190 feet above ground level.
The landing on runway 04R was successful, with a touchdown point 268 meters beyond the touchdown zone. The touchdown speed was 137 knots, which was good, and the touchdown rate was -194 feet per minute, which was also good. The runway touchdown alignment was perfect, and the runway rollout alignment was also perfect.
The local weather conditions at the time of landing were a temperature of 10°C, with a wind speed of 6 knots at 210°. The crosswind component was 0 knots, while the tailwind component was 5 knots. The total landing distance was 1,498 meters, which is 59% of the runway length.
After landing, the aircraft taxied to the parking, which took 7 minutes and covered a distance of 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance
The Boeing 777F aircraft successfully landed at John F Kennedy International Airport (KJFK) on runway 04R, achieving a high score of 95.5%. The final approach was conducted from the southwest, heading 31.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,190 feet above ground level (agl). The aircraft maintained a good threshold height, indicating a stable and controlled descent.
Upon touchdown, the aircraft achieved a threshold speed of 141 knots, which is within the acceptable range. The touchdown point was located 268 meters beyond the touchdown zone, but this is not considered a significant deviation given the overall performance of the landing. The touchdown speed of 137 knots was also within the acceptable range, and the touchdown rate of -194 feet per minute (fpm) was good, indicating a smooth and controlled touchdown.
The local weather conditions at the time of the landing were favorable, with a temperature of 10°C and a wind speed of 6 knots from 210°. This resulted in a crosswind of 0 knots and a tailwind of 5 knots, which did not significantly impact the landing. The runway length of 2,560 meters was sufficient to accommodate the aircraft's landing distance of 1,498 meters, which is 59% of the runway length.
The runway touchdown alignment was perfect, indicating that the aircraft was properly aligned with the runway centerline at touchdown. The runway rollout alignment was also perfect, demonstrating that the aircraft maintained a stable and controlled roll-out after touchdown. Overall, the landing was executed smoothly and safely, with the aircraft achieving a high score of 95.5%.
