Improve the taxi
Twenty knots on a monitor produces the visual sensation of about ten. The advice to "taxi at a walking pace" cannot fix this, because your sense of walking pace is exactly the thing that's broken. Put the groundspeed readout in your scan and obey it for the next fifty flights, the way a student pilot leans on the airspeed indicator before learning to read attitude.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 3,212 ft of the approach.
Plan view — the full 3,212 ft runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 1,140 ft touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with the aircraft, a Beechcraft Duke, taxiing from the parking area to the runway at KBGM Greater Binghamton/Edwin A Link field. This process took approximately 3 minutes and covered a distance of less than 1 nautical mile. The departure roll took place on runway 10, with the aircraft taking off after covering 30% of the runway's length. The takeoff distance was 1,481 feet, and the liftoff speed was 98 knots.
The local weather conditions at the time of takeoff were characterized by a temperature of 21°F and a wind speed of 0 knots from a direction of 249°. There was no crosswind or headwind present. As the aircraft climbed away from the airport, it began its enroute climb, which started overhead KBGM Greater Binghamton/Edwin A Link field. The aircraft climbed from an altitude of 2,405 feet above sea level to 18,244 feet, an increase of 15,839 feet, in just 6 minutes and covering a distance of 36 nautical miles.
Following the enroute climb, the aircraft entered a level cruise phase, which lasted for 6 minutes and covered a distance of 123 nautical miles. This phase began 1 mile east of Walton, New York. The aircraft then started its enroute descent, which began 1 mile west of Stafford, Connecticut. The descent took the aircraft from an altitude of 19,198 feet above sea level to 578 feet, a decrease of 18,620 feet, in 11 minutes and covering a distance of 38 nautical miles.
The final approach to runway 33 at KSFZ North Central State Airport was made from the southeast, with the aircraft heading 319.0° at an altitude of 145 feet above ground level and a distance of 0 nautical miles from the runway. The landing took place on a runway with a length of 3,212 feet, and the threshold height was good. The threshold speed was slightly above the target speed at 102 knots.
The touchdown distance was good at 1,133 feet, and the touchdown speed was 87 knots, which was also good. However, the touchdown rate was fair at -261 feet per minute. The runway touchdown alignment was very good, and the local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of 23°F and a wind speed of 4 knots from a direction of 309°, with a crosswind of 1 knot and a headwind of 4 knots.
Following the landing, the aircraft taxied to the parking area, a process that took approximately 1 minute and covered a distance of less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 199 nautical miles, and the flight duration was 29 minutes. The aircraft used a total of 393 pounds of fuel during the flight.
The Beechcraft Duke successfully landed at KSFZ North Central State Airport, achieving a score of 99.0%. The aircraft approached the runway from the southeast, heading 319.0° at 0 nm and 145 ft above ground level (agl). The pilot executed a precise final approach, taking into account the local weather conditions.
The temperature at the time of landing was 23°F, with a wind speed of 4 kn from 309°. This resulted in a negligible crosswind of 1 kn and a headwind of 4 kn, which did not significantly impact the landing. The pilot maintained a good threshold height, and the threshold speed was slightly above the target at 102 kn.
Upon touchdown, the aircraft performed well, with a touchdown distance of 1,133 ft, which is within acceptable limits. The touchdown speed of 87 kn was also good, indicating a smooth and controlled descent. However, the touchdown rate of -261 fpm was only fair, suggesting that the pilot could have maintained a more gradual descent.
Despite this, the runway touchdown alignment was very good, indicating that the pilot maintained a precise alignment with the runway. The total landing distance of 1,934 ft was 60% of the runway length, which is a reasonable distance considering the aircraft's size and weight.
During the rollout, the aircraft maintained a very good alignment with the runway, indicating that the pilot maintained control and stability throughout the landing. Overall, the Beechcraft Duke's landing at KSFZ North Central State Airport was a success, with the pilot executing a precise and controlled approach and landing.
