Monitor your taxi speed
Twenty knots on a monitor produces the visual sensation of about ten. The advice to "taxi at a walking pace" cannot fix this, because your sense of walking pace is exactly the thing that's broken. Put the groundspeed readout in your scan and obey it for the next fifty flights, the way a student pilot leans on the airspeed indicator before learning to read attitude.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 5,000 ft of the approach.
Plan view — the first 5,000 ft of the 7,399 ft runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 1,939 ft past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with a taxiing period from the parking to the runway, which took 11 minutes and covered a distance of 2 nautical miles. The aircraft, a Cessna Longitude, then departed from runway 04 at LZIB M. R. Štefánik Airport. The takeoff distance was 2,838 feet, which is 30% of the runway length. The liftoff speed was 127 knots, and the local weather conditions at the time of departure were a temperature of 46°F, with a wind speed of 2 knots at 30°.
As the aircraft climbed to a higher altitude, it began its enroute climb from 1,448 feet above sea level to 39,395 feet above sea level, an increase of 37,946 feet in 18 minutes, covering a distance of 89 nautical miles. The climb started overhead Ivanka pri Dunaji, a location in Bratislava, Slovakia. Following the climb, the aircraft entered a level cruise phase, which began 1 mile northwest of Rappottenstein, a location in Niederoesterreich, Austria. This phase lasted for 50 minutes and covered a distance of 354 nautical miles.
As the aircraft continued its journey, it began its enroute descent from 38,808 feet above sea level to 1,588 feet above sea level, a decrease of 37,221 feet in 16 minutes, covering a distance of 56 nautical miles. The descent started overhead Arzfeld, a location in Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany. The final approach to runway 21 at EHBK Maastricht Aachen Airport was made from the northeast, heading 212.0° at 4 nautical miles and 1,214 feet above ground level.
The landing on runway 21 at EHBK Maastricht Aachen Airport was successful, with a touchdown point 529 feet beyond the touchdown zone. The touchdown speed was 105 knots, which was good, and the touchdown rate was smooth at -101 feet per minute. The runway touchdown alignment was very good, and the local weather conditions at the time of landing were a temperature of 46°F, with a wind speed of 13 knots at 165°.
The total landing distance was 4,416 feet, which is 60% of the runway length. The runway rollout alignment was also very good. Following the landing, the aircraft taxied to the parking, which took 4 minutes and covered a distance of less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 508 nautical miles, and the flight duration was 99 minutes. The aircraft used 3,685 pounds of fuel during the flight.
The Cessna Longitude successfully landed at EHBK Maastricht Aachen Airport, achieving a score of 96.8%. The aircraft approached the runway from the north east, heading 212.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,214 feet above ground level (agl). The pilot maintained a good threshold height, which is a crucial aspect of a safe landing.
Upon touchdown, the aircraft landed on runway 21, which has a length of 7,399 feet. The threshold speed was satisfactory at 120 knots, indicating that the pilot had sufficient control over the aircraft's descent. The touchdown point was 529 feet beyond the touchdown zone, which is a relatively short distance. The touchdown speed of 105 knots was also within the acceptable range, and the touchdown rate of -101 feet per minute (fpm) was smooth, indicating a controlled descent.
The local weather conditions at the time of landing were moderate, with a temperature of 46°F and wind speeds of 13 knots at 165°. The crosswind component was 10 knots, while the headwind component was 9 knots. Despite these conditions, the pilot managed to maintain a very good runway touchdown alignment, which is essential for a safe landing.
The total landing distance of 4,416 feet was 60% of the runway length, indicating that the pilot had sufficient control over the aircraft's descent and rollout. The runway rollout alignment was also very good, suggesting that the pilot had maintained control over the aircraft's direction and speed during the rollout phase. Overall, the landing was successful, and the pilot's skills and experience were evident in the execution of the landing.
