Improve the rollout
A crosswind landing is a geometry problem. The air mass you're flying in is moving sideways across the runway, and you need your ground track down the centreline with your wheels aligned to it at the moment of contact. There are two techniques that will help, the crab and the sideslip.

Two stabilised approach gates, each with five checks, where the approach path is 305 m and 152 m above the runway.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 1,979 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,979 m of the 2,114 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 458 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with the Orbit Airlines City Lights aircraft taxiing from the parking to the runway at Bristol Airport, EGGD, which took 7 minutes and covered a distance of 2 nautical miles. The departure roll took place on runway 09, with a takeoff distance of 1,397 meters, which was 74% of the runway length. The aircraft lifted off at a speed of 160 knots.
As the aircraft departed, it encountered local weather conditions of 7°C temperature and a wind speed of 18 knots at 90°. The crosswind component was 1 knot, while the headwind component was 18 knots. The enroute climb started 1 mile west of Winford, North Somerset, England, and the aircraft climbed from an altitude of 1,613 feet above sea level to 25,960 feet above sea level, an increase of 24,347 feet in 15 minutes, covering a distance of 80 nautical miles.
The enroute level cruise started 4 miles northwest of Knighton, Sir Powys, Wales, and lasted 14 minutes, covering a distance of 87 nautical miles. The aircraft then began its descent 1 mile north of Whitworth, Lancashire, England, and descended from 25,552 feet above sea level to 15,913 feet above sea level, a decrease of 9,639 feet in 5 minutes, covering a distance of 32 nautical miles.
The enroute level cruise started again 5 miles south of Middleham, North Yorkshire, England, and lasted 2 minutes, covering a distance of 9 nautical miles. The aircraft then began its descent 2 miles southwest of Catterick Garrison, North Yorkshire, England, and descended from 16,084 feet above sea level to 3,012 feet above sea level, a decrease of 13,072 feet in 9 minutes, covering a distance of 45 nautical miles.
The enroute level cruise started once more 1 mile northeast of Acomb, Northumberland, England, and lasted 8 minutes, covering a distance of 27 nautical miles. The aircraft then began its final approach to runway 07 at Newcastle Airport, EGNT, from the southwest, heading 63.0° at 4 nautical miles and 1,957 feet above ground level.
However, the aircraft was required to perform a go-around at 1,968 feet above ground level. The aircraft then landed on runway 07 at EGNT, with a runway length of 2,114 meters. The threshold speed was 189 knots, and the touchdown point was 56 meters beyond the touchdown zone. The touchdown speed was 185 knots, and the touchdown rate was firm at -356 feet per minute. The runway touchdown alignment was perfect.
The local weather conditions at the time of landing were 2°C temperature and a wind speed of 16 knots at 99°. The crosswind component was 9 knots, while the headwind component was 13 knots. The total landing distance was 1,913 meters, which was 90% of the runway length. Unfortunately, the runway rollout alignment was significantly misaligned by 32.0 meters from the centerline.
The aircraft then taxiied to the parking from the runway, which took 5 minutes and covered a distance of 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 321 nautical miles, taking 75 minutes, and the aircraft used 2,414 kilograms of fuel.
The Orbit Airlines City Lights aircraft successfully landed at EGNT Newcastle Airport, achieving an impressive score of 80.2%. The final approach to runway 07 was conducted from the south west, with a heading of 63.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,957 feet above ground level (agl).
Upon landing, the aircraft touched down 56 meters beyond the touchdown zone, with a touchdown speed of 185 knots. The touchdown rate was firm, at -356 feet per minute (fpm), indicating a controlled descent. The runway touchdown alignment was perfect, suggesting that the pilot maintained a stable and accurate approach.
The local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of 2°C and a wind speed of 16 knots from a direction of 99°. This resulted in a crosswind of 9 knots and a headwind of 13 knots. Despite these conditions, the pilot successfully managed the aircraft's approach and landing.
However, the runway rollout alignment was significantly misaligned by 32.0 meters from the centerline. This suggests that the pilot may have experienced some difficulty in maintaining control of the aircraft during the rollout phase, potentially due to the wind conditions or other factors.
Overall, the landing was successful, but the misaligned rollout alignment indicates that there is room for improvement in the pilot's skills and the aircraft's handling characteristics. The Orbit Airlines City Lights aircraft's score of 80.2% reflects a good performance, but one that could be enhanced with further training and practice.
