Work on the flare
Arrive slow and the sink rate at the threshold is already above schedule, the flare is short because there is no energy to extend it, and the touchdown is hard in a way that feels exactly like a late flare. Diagnosing a slow arrival as a late flare is the catastrophic misread: you respond by flaring earlier, which bleeds more speed, which makes the next one worse. The tiebreaker is threshold speed against VRef, not feel. Never diagnose a flare without it.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,706 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,706 m of the 2,801 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 893 m past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight in the Airbus A320 began at Miami International Airport (KMIA), with a taxi time of 9 minutes covering 2 nm. The departure was from runway 08R, with a takeoff distance of 2,018 m (63% of the runway) and a liftoff speed of 167 kn. The local weather at departure was 19°C with a 6 kn wind at 269°, resulting in a tailwind of 6 kn.
The enroute climb started 1 mile southwest of Brownsville, climbing from 1,031 ft to 35,920 ft in 20 minutes, covering 128 nm. The level cruise started 12 miles south of San Andros Andros I and lasted 1 minute, covering 5 nm. Another enroute climb started 13 miles northwest of Andros Town Intl, climbing from 36,177 ft to 37,371 ft in 1 minute and covering 11 nm. The following level cruise started 1 mile northwest of Andros Town Intl and lasted 30 minutes, covering 225 nm.
The enroute descent began 15 miles south of Pittstown Point Crooked Island, descending from 37,586 ft to 2,196 ft in 22 minutes, covering 115 nm. Another level cruise began 7 miles northwest of West Caicos for 1 minute, covering 5 nm. Then, a descent started 6 miles north of West Caicos, descending from 1,964 ft to 1,759 ft in less than 1 minute and covering 2 nm. A final level cruise began 6 miles northeast of West Caicos for less than 1 minute, covering 1 nm.
The landing was on runway 10 at Providenciales Intl (MBPV), with a runway length of 2,801 m. The height at threshold was 54 ft agl, the speed at threshold was 154 kn, and the touchdown point was 893 m from the threshold. The touchdown speed was 141 kn, and the Vertical Speed Indicator (VSI) was -189 ft/m. The local weather at landing was 31°C with a 19 kn wind at 95°, resulting in a headwind of 19 kn. The total landing distance was 1,626 m (58% of the runway).
Finally, taxiing from the runway to the parking took 7 minutes covering less than 1 nm. The total flight distance was 502 nm, lasting 95 minutes and consuming 3,559 kg of fuel.
Great job on the approach phase with excellent glideslope alignment and maintaining speed above target. However, there is room for improvement in the landing phase, as there was a good threshold height but very poor landing flare.
During the touchdown phase, the touchdown rate was good, but the speed was a little above target. The touchdown point being 478m beyond the touchdown zone is a concern, as well as the runway touchdown position being 11.9m from the centerline. This indicates the need for better precision during the landing phase.
In the rollout phase, the runway alignment was 14.8m from the centerline, which is another area that can be improved upon for a smoother landing.
Overall, with a landing score of 86.2%, there are some strong aspects to build upon such as glideslope alignment and touchdown rate. Keep up the good work and continue to focus on improving areas such as landing flare and runway alignment to further improve your aircraft landing skills. Your dedication and focus on these details will lead to even better landing scores in the future. Good luck!
