MY FS FLIGHTS
Flight Score
Slow down before tight turns
Twenty knots on a monitor produces the visual sensation of about ten. The advice to "taxi at a walking pace" cannot fix this, because your sense of walking pace is exactly the thing that's broken. Put the groundspeed readout in your scan and obey it for the next fifty flights, the way a student pilot leans on the airspeed indicator before learning to read attitude.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 2,469 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 2,469 m of the 3,984 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 580 m past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with the Boeing 777F taxiing from the parking area to the runway at John F. Kennedy International Airport, taking 7 minutes and covering a distance of 2 nautical miles. The aircraft then departed from runway 31L, with a takeoff distance of 2,357 meters, which was 84% of the runway length. The liftoff speed was 183 knots, and the local weather conditions at the time of departure were a temperature of 30 degrees Celsius, with a wind speed of 10 knots at 330 degrees.
As the aircraft climbed to a higher altitude, it began its enroute climb from 1,010 feet above sea level to 31,053 feet above sea level, an increase of 30,043 feet in 21 minutes, covering a distance of 135 nautical miles. The climb started overhead Howard Beach in New York, United States. The aircraft then entered a level cruise, which lasted for 128 minutes and covered a distance of 1,171 nautical miles, starting 1 mile south east of Upton in Massachusetts, United States.
The aircraft then began another enroute climb from 30,874 feet above sea level to 32,544 feet above sea level, an increase of 1,670 feet in 2 minutes, covering a distance of 15 nautical miles. This climb started at a specific location with latitude 51.8286731 and longitude -46.4493012. The aircraft then entered another level cruise, which lasted for 222 minutes and covered a distance of 1,941 nautical miles, starting 1 mile north west of Hammersbach in Germany.
As the aircraft began its descent, it started from 32,981 feet above sea level to 5,429 feet above sea level, a decrease of 27,553 feet in 16 minutes, covering a distance of 90 nautical miles. The descent started overhead Feusdorf in Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany. The aircraft then entered a short level cruise, lasting only 2 minutes and covering a distance of 5 nautical miles, starting 1 mile north west of Hammersbach in Germany.
The aircraft then began its final descent from 5,025 feet above sea level to 1,550 feet above sea level, a decrease of 3,475 feet in 3 minutes, covering a distance of 11 nautical miles. This descent started 1 mile east of Hanau am Main in Hessen, Germany. The aircraft then began its final approach to runway 25L at Frankfurt Airport from the east, heading 249.0 degrees at 4 nautical miles and 1,178 feet above ground level.
However, the aircraft performed a go-around at 25 feet above ground level, before landing on runway 25L at Frankfurt Airport. The runway length was 3,984 meters, and the threshold height was good. The threshold speed was slightly above the target at 154 knots. The touchdown point was 180 meters beyond the touchdown zone, and the touchdown speed was 153 knots, which was good. The touchdown rate was fair at -252 feet per minute. The runway touchdown position was misaligned by 11.4 meters from the centreline.
The local weather conditions at the time of landing were a temperature of 21 degrees Celsius, with a wind speed of 1 knot at 360 degrees. The crosswind was 1 knot, and the headwind was 0 knots. The total landing distance was 2,405 meters, which was 60% of the runway length. The runway rollout alignment was slightly misaligned by 13.0 meters from the centreline.
After landing, the aircraft taxiied to the parking area from the runway, taking 2 minutes and covering a distance of less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 3,387 nautical miles,
The Boeing 777F aircraft successfully landed on runway 25L at Frankfurt Airport (EDDF) with a score of 87.3%. The final approach was initiated from the east, heading 249.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,178 feet above ground level (agl). The aircraft successfully touched down on the runway, with a touchdown speed of 153 kt, which was within the target range.
However, there were some minor issues with the landing. The threshold height at 78 ft agl was well above the target, indicating that the aircraft may have been slightly higher than desired at the point of touchdown. Additionally, the threshold speed was slightly above the target at 154 kt, suggesting that the aircraft may have been slightly faster than desired at the point of touchdown.
The touchdown point was 180 meters beyond the touchdown zone, which is a relatively minor deviation. The touchdown rate of -252 fpm was fair, indicating that the aircraft may have experienced a slightly higher rate of descent than desired. Furthermore, the runway touchdown position was misaligned by 11.4 meters from the centerline, which may have been due to a slight deviation in the aircraft's alignment during the final approach.
The local weather conditions at the time of landing were favorable, with a temperature of 21°C and a wind speed of 1 kt from 360°. This resulted in a negligible crosswind component and a headwind of 0 kt. The total landing distance was 2,405 meters, which is 60% of the runway length. The runway rollout alignment was slightly misaligned by 13.0 meters from the centerline, which may have been due to a slight deviation in the aircraft's alignment during the rollout phase.
Overall, the landing was successful, but there were some minor issues with the aircraft's alignment and touchdown speed. However, the pilot's skills and the aircraft's performance were sufficient to ensure a safe and controlled landing.
