Improve the taxi
Twenty knots on a monitor produces the visual sensation of about ten. The advice to "taxi at a walking pace" cannot fix this, because your sense of walking pace is exactly the thing that's broken. Put the groundspeed readout in your scan and obey it for the next fifty flights, the way a student pilot leans on the airspeed indicator before learning to read attitude.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 5,000 ft of the approach.
Plan view — the first 5,000 ft of the 12,791 ft runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 872 ft touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with a short taxiing period from the parking area to the runway, taking approximately 1 minute and covering less than 1 nautical mile. The aircraft, a Cessna CJ4 Citation, then departed from runway 32 at KLXN Jim Kelly Field, a small airfield in Lexington, Nebraska. The takeoff distance was 1,684 feet, which accounted for 31% of the runway length. The aircraft lifted off at a speed of 139 knots.
As the aircraft climbed away from the airfield, it encountered local weather conditions of 61°F temperature and a 2-knot wind blowing from 270°. The crosswind component was 2 knots, while the headwind component was 1 knot. The enroute climb started approximately 1 mile northwest of KLXN Jim Kelly Field and continued for 4 minutes, during which the aircraft ascended from 3,454 feet above sea level to 12,506 feet above sea level, an increase of 9,053 feet. The climb covered a distance of 5 nautical miles.
Following the climb, the aircraft entered a level cruise phase, which lasted for 30 minutes and covered a distance of 179 nautical miles. The cruise phase started approximately 2 miles south of Lexington, Nebraska. The aircraft then began its enroute descent, which started 2 miles southwest of Onaga, Kansas. The descent phase lasted for 10 minutes and covered a distance of 34 nautical miles, during which the aircraft descended from 12,502 feet above sea level to 2,357 feet above sea level, a decrease of 10,145 feet.
The final approach to runway 13 at KFOE Topeka Regional Airport was made from the northwest, with the aircraft heading 137.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,279 feet above ground level. The landing was made on runway 13, which had a length of 12,791 feet. The threshold height was good, and the threshold speed was slightly above the target speed at 99 knots. The touchdown distance was good at 866 feet, but the touchdown speed was a little fast at 93 knots. The touchdown rate was good at -155 feet per minute, and the runway touchdown alignment was very good.
The local weather conditions at the time of landing were 59°F temperature and a 2-knot wind blowing from 270°, with a crosswind component of 1 knot and a tailwind component of 1 knot. The total landing distance was 1,940 feet, which accounted for 15% of the runway length. The runway rollout alignment was perfect, and the aircraft taxied to the parking area from the runway in approximately 1 minute, covering less than 1 nautical mile.
The total flight distance was 224 nautical miles, and the flight duration was 50 minutes. Notably, the aircraft used 0 pounds of fuel during the flight.
The Cessna CJ4 Citation successfully landed at KFOE Topeka Regional Airport, achieving a score of 99.9%. The aircraft approached the runway from the northwest, heading 137.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,279 feet above ground level (agl). The pilot executed a precise final approach, taking into account the runway's length of 12,791 feet and its orientation.
Upon touchdown, the aircraft's threshold height was satisfactory, but the threshold speed was slightly above the target speed of 98 kt, registering at 99 kt. However, the touchdown distance of 866 feet was within acceptable limits, indicating a smooth and controlled descent. The touchdown speed of 93 kt was a bit faster than desired, but the touchdown rate of -155 feet per minute (fpm) was good, suggesting a stable and controlled landing.
The local weather conditions at the time of landing were favorable, with a temperature of 59°F and a wind speed of 2 kt from 270°. The crosswind and tailwind components were minimal, at 1 kt each, which contributed to a stable and predictable landing. The total landing distance of 1,940 feet was only 15% of the runway's length, demonstrating the pilot's skill and control.
The runway rollout alignment was perfect, indicating that the pilot maintained control and alignment throughout the landing process. Overall, the Cessna CJ4 Citation's landing at KFOE Topeka Regional Airport was a success, with the pilot executing a precise and controlled approach, touchdown, and rollout.
