MY FS FLIGHTS
Flight Score
Smooth the climb
A good takeoff has a defined shape. It also has a defined end. For an airliner that's thrust reduction and acceleration, commonly somewhere around 1,000 to 1,500 ft above the airfield depending on the operator, while for a light aircraft it's established at Vy with the flaps on schedule. Most simmers have no defined end to their takeoff, which is exactly why it never gets judged.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 1,533 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,533 m of the 3,474 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 436 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with a departure roll from runway 16 at UBBQ Gabala International Airport. The Honda Jet took off with a takeoff distance of 368 meters, which is 11% of the runway length. The liftoff speed was 116 knots, and the local weather conditions at the time of takeoff were a temperature of 28 degrees Celsius and a wind speed of 13 knots from a direction of 150 degrees. This resulted in a crosswind of 4 knots and a headwind of 13 knots.
As the aircraft climbed away from the airport, it began its enroute climb, which started overhead the airport. The climb took the aircraft from an altitude of 1,340 feet above sea level to 2,839 feet above sea level, an increase of 1,498 feet in just 1 minute. This climb covered a distance of 3 nautical miles. The aircraft then began its enroute descent, which started 3 miles northeast of the airport. The descent took the aircraft from an altitude of 2,834 feet above sea level to 1,222 feet above sea level, a decrease of 1,612 feet in 2 minutes. This descent also covered a distance of 3 nautical miles.
The final approach to runway 16 at UBBQ Gabala International Airport was made from the north, with the aircraft heading 168.0 degrees at an altitude of 100 feet above ground level and a distance of 0 nautical miles from the runway. The landing was made on runway 16, which has a length of 3,474 meters. The threshold height was good, and the threshold speed was slightly below the target speed at 102 knots.
The touchdown point was 67 meters beyond the touchdown zone, and the touchdown speed was 92 knots, which was good. The touchdown rate was excellent at -57 feet per minute, and the runway touchdown alignment was perfect. The local weather conditions at the time of landing were a temperature of 26 degrees Celsius and a wind speed of 12 knots from a direction of 150 degrees, resulting in a crosswind of 3 knots and a headwind of 11 knots.
The total landing distance was 1,500 meters, which is 43% of the runway length. The runway rollout alignment was very good. The total flight distance was 8 nautical miles, and the flight took 4 minutes to complete. The aircraft used 23 kilograms of fuel during the flight.
The Honda Jet successfully landed at UBBQ Gabala International Airport, achieving a score of 98.5%. The aircraft approached the runway from the north, heading 168.0° at 0 nm and 100 ft above ground level (agl). The landing was executed on runway 16, which has a length of 3,474 meters.
The threshold height was reported as good, indicating that the aircraft was at the correct height as it approached the runway. However, the threshold speed was slightly below the target speed of 102 kt, which may have been due to the aircraft's descent rate or the pilot's decision to maintain a safe speed.
The touchdown point was 67 meters beyond the touchdown zone, which is a relatively minor deviation. The touchdown speed of 92 kt was within the acceptable range, and the touchdown rate of -57 fpm was excellent, indicating a smooth and controlled descent. The runway touchdown alignment was perfect, demonstrating the pilot's skill and attention to detail.
The local weather conditions at the time of the landing were favorable, with a temperature of 26°C and a wind speed of 12 kt at 150°. The crosswind component was minimal at 3 kt, while the headwind component was 11 kt, which helped to reduce the landing distance.
The total landing distance was 1,500 meters, which is 43% of the runway length. This is a relatively short landing distance, indicating that the pilot was able to maintain a high level of control and precision throughout the approach and landing. The runway rollout alignment was also very good, demonstrating the pilot's ability to maintain control of the aircraft during the rollout phase.
Overall, the Honda Jet's landing at UBBQ Gabala International Airport was a success, with the aircraft achieving a high score and demonstrating excellent handling and control.
