Monitor your taxi speed
Twenty knots on a monitor produces the visual sensation of about ten. The advice to "taxi at a walking pace" cannot fix this, because your sense of walking pace is exactly the thing that's broken. Put the groundspeed readout in your scan and obey it for the next fifty flights, the way a student pilot leans on the airspeed indicator before learning to read attitude.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 5,000 ft of the approach.
Plan view — the first 5,000 ft of the 12,229 ft runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 739 ft touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with taxiing from the parking to the runway at USSS Koltsovo Airport, taking 6 minutes and covering 2 nautical miles. The aircraft then departed from runway 26R, with a takeoff distance of 1,564 feet, which was 17% of the runway length. The liftoff speed was 98 knots, and the local weather conditions were characterized by a temperature of 47°F and a wind speed of 11 knots at 270°.
As the aircraft climbed to a higher altitude, it started its enroute climb overhead USSS Koltsovo Airport, Yekaterinburg, in the Sverdlovsk Oblast, Russia. The climb began at an altitude of 1,763 feet above sea level and continued to 28,930 feet above sea level, an increase of 27,167 feet, in 17 minutes, covering a distance of 54 nautical miles.
The enroute level cruise started 2 miles east of Bisert', also in the Sverdlovsk Oblast, Russia, and lasted for 51 minutes, covering a distance of 244 nautical miles. Following this, the enroute descent began 8 miles north of Yelabuga, in the Tatarstan, Russia, and descended from 29,236 feet above sea level to 1,700 feet above sea level, a decrease of 27,535 feet, in 26 minutes, covering a distance of 89 nautical miles.
The final approach to runway 29 at UWKD Kazan International Airport was made from the southeast, heading 304.0°, at 4 nautical miles and 1,318 feet above ground level. The landing on runway 29 was successful, with a touchdown distance of 734 feet, which was good, and a touchdown speed of 69 knots, which was a little fast. The touchdown rate was fair at -205 feet per minute, and the runway touchdown alignment was very good.
The local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of 57°F and a wind speed of 11 knots at 230°, with a crosswind of 10 knots and a headwind of 3 knots. The total landing distance was 3,122 feet, which was 26% of the runway length. The runway rollout alignment was also very good. After landing, the aircraft taxiied to the parking, taking 2 minutes and covering less than 1 nautical mile.
In total, the flight covered a distance of 395 nautical miles, took 104 minutes, and used 726 pounds of fuel.
The Vision Jet has successfully landed at UWKD Kazan International Airport, achieving a remarkable score of 99.4%. The aircraft approached the runway from the southeast, heading 304.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,318 feet above ground level (agl). The pilot's decision to land on runway 29, which has a length of 12,229 feet, was a good one, given the favorable conditions.
Upon touchdown, the threshold height was reported to be good, indicating that the aircraft touched down at the correct point on the runway. However, the threshold speed was slightly above the target speed of 78 kt, which may have been due to the aircraft's momentum or the pilot's decision to maintain a higher speed during the approach. The touchdown distance of 734 feet was within acceptable limits, suggesting that the pilot had a good sense of the aircraft's speed and altitude.
Despite the slightly high touchdown speed of 69 kt, the pilot managed to maintain a fair touchdown rate of -205 feet per minute (fpm). This is a relatively high rate, but it was likely necessary to bring the aircraft to a stop within the available runway length. The runway touchdown alignment was very good, indicating that the pilot had a high degree of control over the aircraft during the final stages of the approach.
The local weather conditions were favorable, with a temperature of 57°F and a wind speed of 11 kt from 230°. The crosswind component was 10 kt, while the headwind component was 3 kt. These conditions would have required the pilot to make some adjustments to the approach, but they did not appear to have had a significant impact on the landing.
The total landing distance of 3,122 feet was 26% of the available runway length, which is a relatively short distance. This suggests that the pilot had a good sense of the aircraft's speed and altitude, and was able to bring the aircraft to a stop within a relatively short distance. The runway rollout alignment was also very good, indicating that the pilot had a high degree of control over the aircraft during the final stages of the landing.
Overall, the Vision Jet's landing at UWKD Kazan International Airport was a success, with the pilot achieving a high score of 99.4%. The aircraft's performance was good, and the pilot's decision-making and control of the aircraft were excellent.
