Monitor your taxi speed
Twenty knots on a monitor produces the visual sensation of about ten. The advice to "taxi at a walking pace" cannot fix this, because your sense of walking pace is exactly the thing that's broken. Put the groundspeed readout in your scan and obey it for the next fifty flights, the way a student pilot leans on the airspeed indicator before learning to read attitude.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,525 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,525 m of the 3,766 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 271 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight in question was operated by a Boeing 777F aircraft. The aircraft began its journey by taxiing from the parking area to the runway, a process that took 8 minutes and covered a distance of 4 nautical miles. The departure roll took place on runway 33L at Logan International Airport (KBOS), with the aircraft lifting off at a speed of 183 knots.
The initial climb phase started over Chelsea, Massachusetts, where the aircraft ascended from 1,058 feet above sea level to 28,567 feet, a gain of 27,510 feet in 17 minutes and covering a distance of 94 nautical miles. The enroute level cruise phase began approximately 1 mile south-east of Harriman and West Airport (KAQW) in North Adams, Massachusetts, and lasted for 46 minutes, covering a distance of 333 nautical miles.
The aircraft then entered another climb phase, this time from 28,500 feet to 30,468 feet, an increase of 1,968 feet in 2 minutes and covering 16 nautical miles, over Flesherton, Ontario, Canada. The subsequent level cruise phase started 2 miles west of Veterans Road Airport (CYRH) in Chatsworth, Ontario, and lasted for 189 minutes, covering a distance of 1,303 nautical miles.
The flight continued with multiple climb and level cruise phases, each taking place over different locations in Canada and Alaska. These phases included a climb from 29,849 feet to 31,828 feet over La Loche, Saskatchewan, Canada, a level cruise from 18 miles east of Gordon Lake Airport (CFW2) in Alberta, Canada, and a climb from 32,034 feet to 33,975 feet over Deadhorse, Alaska.
The final climb phase took place from 34,032 feet to 35,974 feet over Oymyakon, Russia, before the aircraft entered a level cruise phase that lasted for 221 minutes and covered a distance of 1,640 nautical miles. The enroute descent phase started 12 miles south-west of Badaling or YanQing Airport (ZKAA) in Beijing, China, and took 23 minutes to descend from 36,492 feet to 1,295 feet, covering a distance of 62 nautical miles.
The final approach to runway 35L at Beijing Daxing International Airport (ZBAD) took place from the south, with the aircraft heading 353.0 degrees at 4 nautical miles and 1,206 feet above ground level. The landing was successful, with the aircraft touching down at a speed of 134 knots and a touchdown rate of -123 feet per minute. The total landing distance was 1,440 meters, which was 38% of the runway length.
After landing, the aircraft taxiied to the parking area, a process that took 10 minutes and covered a distance of 2 nautical miles. The total flight distance was 6,377 nautical miles, and the flight duration was 913 minutes. The aircraft used a total of 122,080 kilograms of fuel during the flight.
The Boeing 777F aircraft successfully landed at Beijing Daxing International Airport's runway 35L, achieving a remarkable score of 99.8%. The aircraft was approaching the runway from the south, heading 353.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,206 feet above ground level.
The pilot's final approach was executed flawlessly, with a good threshold height and speed of 137 knots. The touchdown distance of 272 meters was also within the acceptable range, indicating a smooth and controlled descent. Upon touchdown, the aircraft's speed was 134 knots, which is a good indication of a stable and controlled landing. The touchdown rate of -123 feet per minute was also smooth, suggesting that the aircraft's weight and speed were well-managed during the landing.
The local weather conditions at the time of landing were relatively calm, with a temperature of -6°C and a wind speed of 1 knot from a direction of 130°. This resulted in a negligible crosswind and tailwind component, making the landing even more challenging and impressive. The total landing distance of 1,440 meters was only 38% of the runway length, demonstrating the pilot's exceptional skill and control.
The runway rollout alignment was also very good, indicating that the aircraft was well-aligned with the runway centerline during the rollout phase. Overall, this landing was a testament to the pilot's expertise and the aircraft's capabilities, and it is clear that the Boeing 777F is a reliable and versatile aircraft that can handle a wide range of weather conditions and landing scenarios.
