Track the centreline
Preparing for a stable approach will give you time to decide on whether to attempt the landing or going around. Too much altitude with a high sink rate will result in carrying too much speed onto the runway. Configuring flaps and the gear late also won't help the speed decay.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate for a circuit: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate is an instrument-approach check and does not apply. These checks are the approach's score.

The rest of the report
The Kodiak 100 taxied to runway 27 at EGFE Haverfordwest Airport and commenced the departure roll, achieving a take-off distance of 414 m, which represented 50 % of the runway length. Liftoff occurred at 82 kt under calm wind conditions (2 kt from 270°, crosswind 0 kt, headwind 2 kt) with an ambient temperature of 15 °C.
After departure, the aircraft entered a right-hand pattern from runway 27, covering less than 1 nm in 19 seconds.
The right-hand pattern crosswind leg was flown from runway 27, also less than 1 nm, and required 26 seconds to complete.
During the downwind turn the aircraft described a 45° angle to the runway, traversing 2 nm while turning to a heading of 57.9°.
The downwind leg extended 3 nm and was completed in 82 seconds.
The base-leg turn was executed with a 45° angle to the runway, covering 2 nm.
The base leg itself was 1 nm long and was flown for 36 seconds.
The final turn to the runway was less than 1 nm and took 28 seconds to align with the approach path.
On final approach to runway 27 the aircraft descended from 365 ft AGL to 16 ft AGL in 52 seconds, meeting the stabilisation gates criteria.
Touchdown occurred on runway 27 at a speed of 60 kt, slightly below the target, with a touchdown distance of 165 m and a touchdown speed of 56 kt. The vertical speed at touchdown was smooth at minus 100 fpm, and runway alignment was very good. Local weather remained unchanged (temperature 15 °C, wind 2 kt from 270°, crosswind 0 kt, headwind 2 kt).
The rollout covered a total landing distance of 381 m, representing 46 % of the runway, and alignment during rollout was perfect.
In summary, the flight covered a total distance of 9 nm taking 8 and used 18 kg of fuel.
The final approach to runway 27 at EGFE Haverfordwest Airport was conducted with a descent from 365 ft AGL to 16 ft AGL over 52 seconds and the maneuver was scored on the stabilisation gates; the aircraft was aligned with the centreline and the local weather was 15 °C with a wind of 2 kt from 270°, giving a head-wind component of 2 kt and no cross-wind.
At threshold the speed was a little below target at 60 kt, the aircraft touched down 165 m down the runway, and the flare produced a touchdown speed of 56 kt with a smooth vertical rate of minus 100 fpm; runway-touchdown alignment was recorded as very good and the threshold height was reported as good.
Touchdown occurred 165 m from the threshold at 56 kt, the vertical rate remained steady at minus 100 fpm and the aircraft maintained very good alignment with the runway centreline throughout the contact phase.
The rollout covered a total landing distance of 381 m, representing 46 % of the 828 m runway, and the aircraft remained perfectly aligned during the rollout.
To tighten energy management, aim to achieve the published threshold speed rather than the slightly low 60 kt observed, while preserving the excellent alignment and smooth flare that contributed to the high 94.7 % score.
