Improve the taxi
Twenty knots on a monitor produces the visual sensation of about ten. The advice to "taxi at a walking pace" cannot fix this, because your sense of walking pace is exactly the thing that's broken. Put the groundspeed readout in your scan and obey it for the next fifty flights, the way a student pilot leans on the airspeed indicator before learning to read attitude.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 2,779 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 352 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight in the Boeing 737-MAX8 began with a 9-minute taxi from the parking area to the runway at ENGM Oslo Airport, Gardermoen. The departure roll took place on runway 19R, with a takeoff distance of 1,687 meters, covering 47% of the runway. The liftoff speed was 174 knots. The local weather at the time of departure was 18°C with a 1 knot wind coming from 269°, resulting in minimal crosswind and headwind.
The enroute climb started one mile south of ENGM Oslo Airport and reached a cruising altitude of 34,739 feet above sea level, covering 92 nautical miles in 13 minutes. The enroute level cruise began 8 miles southwest of ENEE Sølenstua Airfield Engerdal for a duration of 18 minutes, covering 224 nm. The descent commenced 8 miles southwest of Trofors, descending from 34,322 feet asl to 1,305 feet asl, covering 112 nm in 22 minutes.
The final approach to runway 07 at ENBO Bodø Airport was from the west at 4 miles and 1,262 feet above ground level. The landing was on runway 07 with a length of 2,779 meters. The threshold speed during the landing was slightly above the target at 149 knots. The touchdown distance was 352 meters, with a touchdown speed of 145 knots and a touchdown rate of -224 ft/m. The runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned by 4.6 meters from the centerline. The local weather at the time of landing was 15°C with a 1 knot wind coming from 270°, resulting in minimal tailwind.
The total landing distance was 1,160 meters, covering 42% of the runway with a very good runway rollout alignment. After landing, the taxi from the runway to the parking area took 3 minutes, covering less than 1 nm. The total flight distance was 437 nm, lasting 65 minutes, and consuming 3,041 kg of fuel.
Overall, the aircraft landing score of 97.9% indicates a high level of proficiency and skill during the various phases of the landing process.
During the Approach Phase, the pilot demonstrated excellent glideslope alignment which is crucial for a smooth and controlled descent towards the runway. Additionally, the threshold speed being well above the target at 149 knots shows good decision-making and adherence to safety protocols.
Moving on to the Landing Phase, the good threshold height indicates that the aircraft was at the correct altitude for a successful touchdown. The perfect landing flare suggests a precise and well-executed technique during the final moments before touchdown, enhancing the safety of the landing.
In the Touchdown Phase, while the touchdown rate of -224 ft/m was fair, indicating a slightly firmer landing than optimal, the touchdown speed of 145 knots was a little fast. It is important to strive for a smoother touchdown by ensuring the aircraft is at an appropriate speed for landing. However, the touchdown distance of 352 meters was good, indicating that the aircraft touched down at a suitable point on the runway.
Lastly, the runway touchdown position being slightly misaligned by 4.6 meters from the centerline could be improved upon for future landings. Precise alignment with the centerline enhances safety and efficiency during landing.
Overall, the high landing score of 97.9% reflects a strong and proficient landing performance with room for minor improvements in speed control and alignment. With continued practice and attention to detail, the pilot can further enhance their landing skills and strive for perfection in all phases of the landing process. Encouragement should be given to maintain the high standard demonstrated and build upon it for even better landings in the future.
