Maintain the centreline
A small uncorrected heading error at 40 knots becomes a metre of offset per second by 100 knots, noticed only at rotation, producing a crabbed liftoff. Root cause is nearly always eyes on the tape instead of the far end of the runway. Small heading changes displace a distant point visibly long before the nearby centreline stripes look wrong.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 2,830 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 193 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with a taxiing period from the parking to the runway, which took 4 minutes and covered less than 1 nautical mile. The aircraft, a Cessna CJ4 Citation, then departed from runway 01 at RPLI Laoag International Airport. The takeoff distance was 510 meters, which accounted for 18% of the runway. The liftoff speed was 120 knots, and the local weather conditions were characterized by a temperature of 30 degrees Celsius, with a wind speed of 6 knots at 20 degrees.
As the aircraft took off, it began its enroute climb, starting 1 mile north of RPLI Laoag International Airport. The climb was from an initial altitude of 1,084 feet above sea level to 22,936 feet above sea level, an increase of 21,851 feet in just 6 minutes, covering a distance of 17 nautical miles. The enroute level cruise then started 2 miles south east of Badoc, lasting 2 minutes and covering 15 nautical miles.
The aircraft then began another enroute climb, this time from 22,954 feet above sea level to 27,134 feet above sea level, an increase of 4,180 feet in 2 minutes, covering a distance of 14 nautical miles. The enroute level cruise started 2 miles west of Santa Maria, lasting 16 minutes and covering 117 nautical miles.
As the aircraft approached its destination, it began its enroute descent, starting 4 miles west of San Miguel. The descent was from 27,222 feet above sea level to 1,427 feet above sea level, a decrease of 25,796 feet in 17 minutes, covering a distance of 44 nautical miles.
The final approach to runway 07 at RPLB Subic Bay International Airport was from the south west, with a heading of 62.0 degrees at 4 nautical miles and 1,365 feet above ground level. The landing on runway 07 was successful, with a touchdown distance of 194 meters, a touchdown speed of 92 knots, and a touchdown rate of -154 feet per minute. The runway touchdown alignment was very good, and the local weather conditions were characterized by a temperature of 28 degrees Celsius, with a wind speed of 7 knots at 60 degrees.
The total landing distance was 1,152 meters, which accounted for 41% of the runway. The runway rollout alignment was also very good. After landing, the aircraft took 3 minutes to taxi to the parking from the runway, covering less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 214 nautical miles, taking 55 minutes, and the aircraft used 611 kilograms of fuel.
The Cessna CJ4 Citation successfully landed at RPLB Subic Bay International Airport, achieving a high score of 97.9%. The aircraft approached the runway from the southwest, heading 62.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,365 feet above ground level (agl). The pilot executed a precise final approach, taking into account the local weather conditions, which included a temperature of 28°C and a wind speed of 7 knots at 60°.
Upon landing, the aircraft touched down on the runway at a speed of 101 knots, which was slightly below the target threshold speed. This indicates that the pilot maintained control and managed the aircraft's descent effectively. The touchdown distance of 194 meters was also within the acceptable range, demonstrating the pilot's ability to navigate the aircraft safely onto the runway.
The touchdown speed of 92 knots was good, and the touchdown rate of -154 feet per minute (fpm) was also within the acceptable limits. This suggests that the pilot maintained a stable and controlled descent, resulting in a smooth touchdown. The runway touchdown alignment was very good, indicating that the pilot successfully aligned the aircraft with the runway centerline.
The local weather conditions, including a headwind of 7 knots and a crosswind of 1 knot, did not significantly impact the landing. The total landing distance of 1,152 meters, which accounted for 41% of the runway length, was also within the acceptable range. This indicates that the pilot effectively managed the aircraft's speed and descent to achieve a safe and controlled landing.
Finally, the runway rollout alignment was very good, demonstrating the pilot's ability to maintain control of the aircraft during the rollout phase. Overall, the landing was executed safely and efficiently, with the pilot demonstrating a high level of skill and expertise.
