Maintain the centreline
A small uncorrected heading error at 40 knots becomes a metre of offset per second by 100 knots, noticed only at rotation, producing a crabbed liftoff. Root cause is nearly always eyes on the tape instead of the far end of the runway. Small heading changes displace a distant point visibly long before the nearby centreline stripes look wrong.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,541 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,541 m of the 1,914 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 609 m past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with the Airbus A319 taxiing from the parking area to the runway at Göteborg Landvetter Airport, taking approximately 10 minutes and covering a distance of 2 nautical miles. The departure roll took place on runway 21, with the aircraft lifting off after a takeoff distance of 929 meters, which accounted for 28% of the runway. The liftoff speed was 150 knots.
The local weather conditions at the time of departure were characterized by a temperature of 20 degrees Celsius, with a wind speed of 8 knots blowing at a direction of 90 degrees. This resulted in a crosswind of 7 knots and a tailwind of 4 knots. The aircraft then began its enroute climb, starting 1 mile southwest of Göteborg Landvetter Airport and ascending from an altitude of 1,475 feet above sea level to 35,264 feet above sea level, an increase of 33,790 feet, in 16 minutes and covering a distance of 92 nautical miles.
Following the enroute climb, the aircraft entered a level cruise phase, which started 8 miles southeast of Grenaa, Denmark, and lasted for 3 minutes, covering a distance of 24 nautical miles. The enroute descent then began 8 miles east of Samsø Airfield, Denmark, and lasted for 29 minutes, during which the aircraft descended from 35,283 feet above sea level to 1,331 feet above sea level, a decrease of 33,952 feet, and covered a distance of 126 nautical miles.
The final approach to runway 07 at Lübeck Blankensee Airport was made from the west, with the aircraft heading at 72.0 degrees at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,271 feet above ground level. The landing took place on runway 07, which had a length of 1,914 meters. The threshold height was good, and the threshold speed was also satisfactory at 129 knots. The touchdown point was 200 meters beyond the touchdown zone, with a touchdown speed of 117 knots and a firm touchdown rate of -356 feet per minute. The runway touchdown alignment was perfect, and the local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of 22 degrees Celsius, with a wind speed of 8 knots blowing at a direction of 130 degrees. This resulted in a crosswind of 7 knots and a headwind of 4 knots.
The total landing distance was 1,468 meters, accounting for 77% of the runway. The runway rollout alignment was very good, and the aircraft then began taxiing to the parking area, taking approximately 2 minutes and covering a distance of less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 250 nautical miles, and the flight duration was 62 minutes. The aircraft used a total of 2,236 kilograms of fuel during the flight.
The Airbus A319 successfully landed at EDHL Lübeck Blankensee Airport, achieving a score of 91.3%. The aircraft approached the runway from the west, heading 72.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,271 feet above ground level (agl). The final approach was executed with precision, and the aircraft landed smoothly on runway 07, which has a length of 1,914 meters.
The threshold height was good, indicating that the aircraft was at the correct altitude as it approached the runway. The threshold speed of 129 knots was also satisfactory, demonstrating the pilot's ability to manage the aircraft's speed during the landing phase. The touchdown point was 200 meters beyond the touchdown zone, which is a relatively minor deviation but still within acceptable limits.
The touchdown speed of 117 knots was good, and the touchdown rate of -356 feet per minute (fpm) was firm, indicating a controlled descent. The runway touchdown alignment was perfect, showing that the aircraft was aligned with the runway centerline at the moment of touchdown. The local weather conditions, with a temperature of 22°C and a wind speed of 8 knots at 130°, presented a moderate headwind component of 4 knots and a crosswind component of 7 knots.
The total landing distance of 1,468 meters was 77% of the runway length, which is a reasonable distance considering the aircraft's size and the wind conditions. The runway rollout alignment was very good, indicating that the aircraft was aligned with the runway centerline during the rollout phase, which is essential for safe and controlled deceleration.
Overall, the landing was executed with precision and control, and the pilot demonstrated good skills in managing the aircraft's speed, altitude, and alignment during the approach and landing phases.
