Slow down before tight turns
Twenty knots on a monitor produces the visual sensation of about ten. The advice to "taxi at a walking pace" cannot fix this, because your sense of walking pace is exactly the thing that's broken. Put the groundspeed readout in your scan and obey it for the next fifty flights, the way a student pilot leans on the airspeed indicator before learning to read attitude.

Fly a stabilized approach and flare to touch down at the target point of 457 m.
What happened: Touchdown occurred past the normal point, landing 210 m beyond the target distance. This pattern typically reduces the margin available for stopping before the runway end.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
Two stabilised approach gates, each with seven checks, where the approach path is 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway. They are the approach's score: the checks passed out of the checks that ran.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 1,916 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,916 m of the 3,274 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 667 m past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The Boeing 777-200ER taxied from the parking area to runway 26L at EDDM Munich Airport in 8 minutes, covering 2 nm.
Takeoff roll commenced on runway 26L, using 1,737 m (44 % of the runway). Liftoff was achieved at 161 kt. Local weather reported a temperature of 23 °C, wind 2 kt from 059°, with a 1 kt crosswind and a 1 kt tailwind.
The initial climb began overhead Hallbergmoos, Bavaria, Germany, climbing from 2,437 ft asl to 34,572 ft asl - an increase of 32,134 ft - in 24 minutes while covering 180 nm.
Level cruise started 1 mile east of Pernitz, Niederoesterreich, Austria, lasting 59 minutes and encompassing 511 nm.
A subsequent climb was initiated over Independenta, Calarasi, Romania, ascending from 35,417 ft asl to 36,536 ft asl, a gain of 1,119 ft in 2 minutes and covering 13 nm.
The next cruise segment began 2 miles south-east of Modelu, Calarasi, Romania, and continued for 188 minutes, traversing 1,668 nm.
A further climb started 2 miles north-east of Yoloeten, Mary, Turkmenistan, rising from 37,439 ft asl to 38,488 ft asl - an increase of 1,048 ft - in 2 minutes and covering 13 nm.
Cruise then proceeded from a point 15 miles south-east of Yoloeten for 309 minutes, covering 2,489 nm.
Descent commenced 20 miles south-west of Son La, Tinh Son La, Vietnam, descending from 38,998 ft asl to 1,379 ft asl, a loss of 37,619 ft in 23 minutes while covering 120 nm.
Final approach to runway 11L at VVNB Noi Bai International Airport was flown from the west on a heading of 107.0° at 4 nm and 1,323 ft agl. Local conditions were 27 °C, wind 4 kt from 270°, with a 1 kt crosswind and a 4 kt tailwind.
Landing on runway 11L, length 3,274 m, recorded a threshold height 63 ft agl above target and a threshold speed of 130 kt. Touchdown occurred 252 m beyond the touchdown zone at 124 kt, with a smooth rate of minus 115 fpm. The touchdown point was 7.7 m off the centreline; total landing distance was 1,836 m (56 % of runway).
Runway rollout alignment was slightly off, measured at 8.8 m from the centreline.
Taxi-in from the runway to the parking area required 1 minute and covered less than 1 nm.
In total, the flight covered 5,003 nm, lasted 616 minutes, and consumed 69,541 kg of fuel.
The Boeing 777-200ER performed a final approach to runway 11L at VVNB Noi Bai International Airport from the west, tracking a heading of 107.0° at 4 nm and 1,323 ft agl. The approach was assessed as stabilised at the 1,000 ft gate, with gear, flaps, sink rate, glideslope and centreline all within limits. Ambient temperature was 27 °C, wind was 4 kt from 270°, with a 1 kt cross-wind component and a 4 kt tail-wind component.
At threshold the aircraft encountered a height of 63 ft agl, which was above the target, while the threshold speed of 130 kt was recorded as good. The flare proceeded from this condition into touchdown.
Touchdown occurred 252 m beyond the designated touchdown zone, with a speed of 124 kt judged good and a smooth vertical rate of minus 115 fpm. The touchdown point was laterally offset by 7.7 m from the centreline, and the total landing distance measured 1,836 m, representing 56 % of the runway length.
During rollout the aircraft remained slightly off centreline, with a measured lateral deviation of 8.8 m. The overall landing received a final score of 91.3 %.
Improving lateral alignment on touchdown and maintaining centreline tracking through rollout will reduce the 7-9 m deviations observed. Monitoring the localiser and visual cues more closely during the flare can help achieve a more centred touchdown and smoother rollout.
