MY FS FLIGHTS
Flight Score
Work on the flare
Arrive slow and the sink rate at the threshold is already above schedule, the flare is short because there is no energy to extend it, and the touchdown is hard in a way that feels exactly like a late flare. Diagnosing a slow arrival as a late flare is the catastrophic misread: you respond by flaring earlier, which bleeds more speed, which makes the next one worse. The tiebreaker is threshold speed against VRef, not feel. Never diagnose a flare without it.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
Two stabilised approach gates, each with seven checks, where the approach path is 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway.
At the 1,000 ft gate: off the runway's 3° glideslope.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 5,000 ft of the approach.
Plan view — the first 5,000 ft of the 10,788 ft runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 2,640 ft past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight in question was operated by a Boeing 777-200ER aircraft. The aircraft began its journey by taxiing from the parking area to the runway, a process that took 16 minutes and covered a distance of 3 nautical miles. The departure roll took place on runway 22R at John F. Kennedy International Airport, with a takeoff distance of 1,711 feet, which is 20% of the runway length. The aircraft lifted off at a speed of 162 knots.
As the aircraft climbed to its initial cruising altitude, it encountered local weather conditions of 32°F temperature and winds of 8 knots at 240 degrees. The crosswind was 4 knots, and the headwind was 7 knots. The enroute climb started approximately 1 mile northwest of Edgemere, New York, and the aircraft climbed from 1,095 feet above sea level to 34,664 feet, an increase of 33,569 feet in 19 minutes, covering a distance of 135 nautical miles.
The aircraft then entered a level cruise phase, which started 107 miles southeast of Fire Island, New York, and lasted for 38 minutes, covering a distance of 330 nautical miles. The aircraft continued to climb and level cruise at various points, including a climb from 35,440 feet to 36,790 feet in 2 minutes, covering 13 nautical miles, and a level cruise phase that lasted 117 minutes, covering 1,017 nautical miles.
As the aircraft continued its journey, it encountered various weather conditions, including a temperature of 81°F and winds of 13 knots at 70 degrees, with a crosswind of 7 knots and a headwind of 11 knots, during the final approach and landing at Minister Pistarini International Airport in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The final approach to runway 11 was made from the west, with a heading of 102.0 degrees at 4 nautical miles and 1,576 feet above ground level. The aircraft landed on the runway, which had a length of 10,788 feet, and the threshold height was above the target, while the threshold speed was slightly above the target at 136 knots. The touchdown point was 1,256 feet beyond the touchdown zone, and the touchdown speed was 121 knots, which was good. The touchdown rate was also good at -153 feet per minute.
The runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned by 15 feet from the centerline, but the runway rollout alignment was very good. The total landing distance was 4,101 feet, which is 38% of the runway length. The taxiing to the parking area from the runway took 4 minutes and covered less than 1 nautical mile.
The total flight distance was 4,760 nautical miles, and the flight duration was 609 minutes, with a fuel consumption of 136,663 pounds.
The Boeing 777-200ER aircraft successfully landed at SAEZ Minister Pistarini International Airport, achieving an overall score of 88.0%. The final approach to runway 11 was initiated from the west, with a heading of 102.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,576 feet above ground level (agl).
Upon landing, the aircraft touched down on the runway, with a speed of 121 knots, which was within the acceptable range. The touchdown rate of -153 feet per minute (fpm) was also satisfactory, indicating a smooth and controlled descent. However, the touchdown point was located 1,256 feet beyond the designated touchdown zone, which may indicate a slight deviation from the intended landing path.
The threshold height at 63 feet agl was above the target, and the threshold speed of 136 knots was slightly above the target speed. Despite these minor deviations, the overall landing performance was satisfactory. The runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned by 15 feet from the centerline, which may require some adjustments to the aircraft's approach path.
The local weather conditions at the time of landing were favorable, with a temperature of 81°F and a wind speed of 13 knots at 70°. The crosswind component was 7 knots, while the headwind component was 11 knots, which may have contributed to the slight deviation from the intended landing path.
The total landing distance of 4,101 feet was 38% of the runway length, which is within the acceptable range. The runway rollout alignment was very good, indicating that the aircraft was well-controlled during the landing roll. Overall, the landing performance of the Boeing 777-200ER aircraft at SAEZ Minister Pistarini International Airport was satisfactory, with some minor deviations from the intended landing path.
