Monitor your taxi speed
Twenty knots on a monitor produces the visual sensation of about ten. The advice to "taxi at a walking pace" cannot fix this, because your sense of walking pace is exactly the thing that's broken. Put the groundspeed readout in your scan and obey it for the next fifty flights, the way a student pilot leans on the airspeed indicator before learning to read attitude.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 5,000 ft of the approach.
Plan view — the first 5,000 ft of the 12,112 ft runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 471 ft touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with the Vision Jet taxiing from the parking area to the runway at UIBB Bratsk Airport, taking approximately 4 minutes and covering a distance of 2 nautical miles. Departure roll occurred on runway 30, with a takeoff distance of 1,702 feet, which accounted for 17% of the runway. The aircraft lifted off at a speed of 100 knots.
The local weather conditions at the time of takeoff were characterized by a temperature of 27°F and a wind speed of 17 knots from a direction of 309°. This resulted in a crosswind of 4 knots and a headwind of 17 knots. As the aircraft departed, it began its enroute climb, starting overhead UIBB Bratsk Airport and ascending from an altitude of 2,629 feet above sea level to 21,701 feet, an increase of 19,072 feet in 11 minutes, covering a distance of 37 nautical miles.
Following the initial climb, the aircraft entered a level cruise phase, starting 21 miles west of Vikhorevka and lasting 3 minutes, covering a distance of 16 nautical miles. However, this was short-lived, as the aircraft soon began another climb phase, this time from 36 miles west of Vikhorevka, ascending from 21,934 feet to 25,217 feet, an increase of 3,283 feet in 2 minutes, covering a distance of 7 nautical miles.
The aircraft then entered another level cruise phase, starting 43 miles west of Vikhorevka and lasting 38 minutes, covering a distance of 187 nautical miles. As the aircraft approached its destination, it began its descent phase, starting overhead Uyar and descending from 26,462 feet to 2,495 feet, a decrease of 23,968 feet in 22 minutes, covering a distance of 61 nautical miles.
The final approach to runway 29 at UNKL Krasnoyarsk International Airport was made from the southeast, with a heading of 295.0° at 4 nautical miles and 1,554 feet above ground level. The landing was executed on a runway length of 12,112 feet, with a threshold height that was considered good. The threshold speed was slightly below the target at 66 knots, but the touchdown distance was good at 461 feet. However, the touchdown speed was a little fast at 68 knots, and the touchdown rate was hard at -473 feet per minute.
The runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned by 17 feet from the centreline, and the runway rollout alignment was also slightly misaligned by 28 feet from the centreline. The local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of 32°F and a wind speed of 4 knots from a direction of 300°, resulting in a crosswind of 0 knots and a headwind of 3 knots.
The total landing distance was 1,368 feet, which accounted for 11% of the runway. Following the landing, the aircraft taxied to the parking area, taking approximately 1 minute and covering a distance of less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 315 nautical miles, taking a total of 87 minutes, and the aircraft used 622 pounds of fuel during the flight.
The Vision Jet aircraft successfully landed at UNKL Krasnoyarsk International Airport, with a final approach from the south east. The aircraft was at an altitude of 1,554 feet above ground level (agl) and 4 nautical miles from the runway when it began its descent. The pilot maintained a heading of 295.0°, which is aligned with the runway, and made a smooth transition onto the runway.
Upon touchdown, the aircraft's speed was slightly below the target threshold speed, coming in at 66 knots. However, the touchdown speed of 68 knots was a little faster than desired, which may have contributed to the hard touchdown rate of -473 feet per minute (fpm). The touchdown distance of 461 feet was within acceptable limits, indicating that the pilot maintained control of the aircraft during the landing.
The runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned from the centreline, with the aircraft deviating by 17 feet. This may have been due to a slight miscalculation of the wind or a minor deviation in the pilot's approach. The local weather conditions were relatively calm, with a temperature of 32°F and a gentle wind of 4 knots from 300°.
The crosswind component was negligible, with a headwind of 3 knots contributing to the aircraft's approach. The total landing distance of 1,368 feet was within 11% of the runway length, indicating that the pilot made a smooth and controlled landing. However, the runway rollout alignment was slightly misaligned from the centreline, with the aircraft deviating by 28 feet. This may have been due to a slight overcorrection or a minor deviation in the pilot's rollout.
Overall, the Vision Jet aircraft landed safely at UNKL Krasnoyarsk International Airport, with a score of 92.8%. While there were some minor deviations in the approach and rollout, the pilot maintained control of the aircraft throughout the landing, and the aircraft touched down safely within the designated runway area.
