MY FS FLIGHTS
Flight Score
Work on the flare
Arrive slow and the sink rate at the threshold is already above schedule, the flare is short because there is no energy to extend it, and the touchdown is hard in a way that feels exactly like a late flare. Diagnosing a slow arrival as a late flare is the catastrophic misread: you respond by flaring earlier, which bleeds more speed, which makes the next one worse. The tiebreaker is threshold speed against VRef, not feel. Never diagnose a flare without it.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
Two stabilised approach gates, each with seven checks, where the approach path is 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway.
At the 1,000 ft gate: speed above the reference speed.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 3,352 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 442 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
Taxiing from the parking area to the runway at ENVA Trondheim Airport, Værnes took approximately 4 minutes, covering a distance of 1 nautical mile. The Boeing 737-600 then began its departure roll on runway 09, accelerating to a liftoff speed of 142 knots. The takeoff distance of 768 meters was 33% of the runway length, indicating a relatively short takeoff roll. Local weather conditions at the time of departure featured a temperature of 11°C, with a light wind of 5 knots from 139°, resulting in a negligible crosswind component.
As the aircraft climbed away from Trondheim, it began its enroute climb, reaching a maximum altitude of 37,998 feet above sea level. The climb phase lasted 36 minutes, during which the aircraft covered a distance of 256 nautical miles and increased its altitude by 36,981 feet. Following the climb, the aircraft entered a level cruise phase, maintaining an altitude of 37,999 feet for 47 minutes while covering a distance of 340 nautical miles. The cruise phase was followed by a descent phase, during which the aircraft descended from 37,999 feet to 2,011 feet above sea level, a decrease of 35,988 feet, in 20 minutes and covering 121 nautical miles. The final approach to runway 27 at EHAM Amsterdam Airport Schiphol was made from the east, with the aircraft touching down on the runway at a speed of 121 knots and a touchdown distance of 443 meters.
The landing was characterized by a smooth touchdown rate of -139 feet per minute and a runway touchdown alignment that was very good. The total landing distance of 856 meters was 26% of the runway length, indicating a relatively short landing roll. Following the landing, the aircraft taxied to the parking area, taking approximately 1 minute to cover a distance of less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 732 nautical miles, with a total flight time of 113 minutes and a fuel consumption of 5,288 kilograms.
The Boeing 737-600 touched down on runway 27 at EHAM Amsterdam Airport Schiphol with a smooth touchdown rate of -139 fpm, indicating a well-executed landing. The aircraft's speed at touchdown was slightly above the target, at 121 kt, which may have contributed to a slightly longer than ideal touchdown distance of 443 m. However, this distance was still within acceptable limits, and the overall approach quality was good.
The approach was initiated from the east, heading 267.0°, at 4 nm and 1,243 ft above ground level (agl), and the aircraft maintained a steady course throughout the descent. The threshold height was good, and the threshold speed was slightly above the target at 131 kt, which may have been due to the prevailing headwind of 6 kt. The runway touchdown alignment was very good, with the aircraft centered on the runway centerline.
The rollout phase was also executed well, with the aircraft maintaining very good alignment on the runway centerline. The total landing distance of 856 m was 26% of the runway length, which is within the acceptable range. Overall, the landing was scored 99.1%, reflecting the high level of proficiency demonstrated by the crew. The local weather conditions, with a temperature of 10 °C and a light wind of 6 kt at 290°, contributed to a stable and predictable approach and landing.
