Maintain the centreline
A small uncorrected heading error at 40 knots becomes a metre of offset per second by 100 knots, noticed only at rotation, producing a crabbed liftoff. Root cause is nearly always eyes on the tape instead of the far end of the runway. Small heading changes displace a distant point visibly long before the nearby centreline stripes look wrong.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 3,986 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 465 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with the aircraft, an Airbus A321, taxiing from the parking area to the runway at LZIB M. R. Štefánik Airport. This process took 5 minutes and covered a distance of 1 nautical mile. The departure roll took place on runway 04, and the aircraft lifted off after a takeoff distance of 1,508 meters, which was 52% of the runway length. The liftoff speed was 161 knots.
As the aircraft climbed to a higher altitude, it encountered local weather conditions with a temperature of 13°C and wind speeds of 8 knots at 339 degrees. The crosswind was 7 knots, and the headwind was 3 knots. The enroute climb started overhead Ivanka pri Dunaji, Bratislava, Slovakia, and the aircraft climbed from 1,450 feet above sea level to 27,495 feet above sea level, an increase of 26,045 feet in 16 minutes, covering a distance of 83 nautical miles.
The enroute level cruise started overhead Wieselburg, Niederoesterreich, Austria, and lasted for 3 minutes, covering a distance of 25 nautical miles. The aircraft then began its descent from 27,513 feet above sea level to 12,743 feet above sea level, a decrease of 14,769 feet in 11 minutes, covering a distance of 65 nautical miles. The enroute level cruise started 1 mile north east of Tarsdorf, Oberoesterreich, Austria, and lasted for 2 minutes, covering a distance of 7 nautical miles.
The aircraft then began its descent from 12,763 feet above sea level to 4,888 feet above sea level, a decrease of 7,875 feet in 5 minutes, covering a distance of 20 nautical miles. The enroute level cruise started overhead Velden, Bavaria, Germany, and lasted for 2 minutes, covering a distance of 6 nautical miles. The aircraft then began its descent from 4,905 feet above sea level to 2,707 feet above sea level, a decrease of 2,198 feet in 3 minutes, covering a distance of 7 nautical miles.
The final approach to runway 26R at EDDM Munich Airport was made from the east, heading 262.0 degrees at 4 nautical miles and 1,229 feet above ground level. The landing took place on runway 26R, which had a length of 3,986 meters. The threshold height was slightly above the target, but the threshold speed was good at 129 knots. The touchdown point was 65 meters beyond the touchdown zone, and the touchdown speed was a little fast at 131 knots. The touchdown rate was fair at -254 feet per minute, and the runway touchdown alignment was perfect.
The local weather conditions at the time of landing were a temperature of 10°C and wind speeds of 2 knots at 310 degrees. The crosswind was 2 knots, and the headwind was 2 knots. The total landing distance was 1,443 meters, which was 36% of the runway length. The runway rollout alignment was very good. The taxiing to the parking area from the runway took 6 minutes and covered a distance of less than 1 nautical mile.
The total flight distance was 222 nautical miles, and the flight took 54 minutes. The aircraft used 2,527 kilograms of fuel during the flight.
The Airbus A321 successfully landed at EDDM Munich Airport on runway 26R, achieving a score of 99.5%. The aircraft was approaching the runway from the east, heading 262.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,229 feet above ground level (agl). The final approach was executed with precision, and the aircraft landed safely on the designated runway.
The threshold height at 55 feet agl was slightly above the target, but the threshold speed was well within the acceptable range at 129 knots. The touchdown point was 65 meters beyond the touchdown zone, which is a relatively minor deviation. The touchdown speed of 131 knots was slightly faster than the ideal speed, but the touchdown rate of -254 feet per minute (fpm) was fair.
The local weather conditions at the time of landing were favorable, with a temperature of 10°C and a gentle wind of 2 knots at 310°. The crosswind and headwind components were both 2 knots, which had a minimal impact on the landing. The runway length of 3,986 meters provided ample space for the aircraft to land and roll out.
The total landing distance of 1,443 meters was 36% of the runway length, which is a relatively short distance. The runway rollout alignment was excellent, indicating that the aircraft was well under control during the landing and rollout phases. Overall, the landing was executed with precision and control, resulting in a high score of 99.5%.
