Shorten the long landing
Ground effect becomes significant below about one wingspan of height. A Cessna 172, with a 36 ft span, enters ground effect at flare height - the float it feels in the hold-off is ground effect arriving on cue. An A320, with a span around 117 ft, has been in ground effect since before the threshold and there is no sudden cushion to feel, only a gradual reduction in induced drag that lengthens any float you allow.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 2,130 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 464 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
Great job on achieving a landing score of 98.1%! Your approach phase was solid with good glideslope alignment, even though your speed was a bit below target. It's always better to be slightly under than over, so keep up the good work in maintaining control during this phase.
Moving onto the landing phase, your threshold height was slightly above target, but you made up for it with an excellent landing flare. This shows that you have a good sense of timing and control as you bring the aircraft down smoothly. Additionally, your touchdown rate was fair, and your speed was right on target. Landing distance inside the touchdown zone and the runway touchdown position being 2.6 meters from the centerline is commendable.
However, it's important to note that you landed with a 4 knot tailwind, which is a potential safety concern. While you managed it well this time, it's essential to be cautious of tailwinds and strive to land into the wind whenever possible for optimal safety.
Lastly, the rollout phase showcased your strong skills with very good runway alignment. This indicates that you maintained control and kept the aircraft on the designated path during the final moments of touchdown.
Overall, your performance was exceptional with only minor areas for improvement. Keep practicing, stay focused on maintaining precision in all phases of landing, and continue to prioritize safety in your decision-making process. With this level of skill and dedication, you will undoubtedly excel in your future flights. Great job, and keep up the excellent work!
