Smooth the climb
A good takeoff has a defined shape. It also has a defined end. For an airliner that's thrust reduction and acceleration, commonly somewhere around 1,000 to 1,500 ft above the airfield depending on the operator, while for a light aircraft it's established at Vy with the flaps on schedule. Most simmers have no defined end to their takeoff, which is exactly why it never gets judged.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 3,105 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 311 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with a departure roll from runway 27 at LZTT Poprad-Tatry Airport. The aircraft, a TBM 850, accelerated down the runway, covering a distance of 713 meters, which was 28% of the runway length. The liftoff speed was achieved at 100 knots. At the time of takeoff, the local weather conditions were characterized by a temperature of 16°C, a wind speed of 1 knot from 270°, resulting in a negligible crosswind and a slight headwind.
Following a brief enroute level cruise that lasted less than a minute and covered less than a nautical mile, the aircraft began its enroute climb. This climb phase started over LZTT Poprad-Tatry Airport and took the aircraft from an altitude of 2,625 feet above sea level to 3,779 feet above sea level, an increase of 1,154 feet, in just 2 minutes. The climb covered a distance of 6 nautical miles.
The enroute level cruise resumed 3 miles southeast of Poprad, lasting for 7 minutes and covering a distance of 38 nautical miles. The aircraft then began its enroute descent, which started 3 miles southwest of LZPR Letisko Mirkovce Presov. The descent took the aircraft from an altitude of 3,993 feet above sea level to 2,030 feet above sea level, a decrease of 1,963 feet, in just 3 minutes. The descent covered a distance of 6 nautical miles.
The final approach to runway 19 at LZKZ Košice International Airport was made from the north, with the aircraft heading 193.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,275 feet above ground level. The landing was executed on runway 19, which had a length of 3,105 meters. The threshold height was good, and the threshold speed was achieved at 88 knots. The touchdown distance was also good, covering a distance of 311 meters. The touchdown speed was 64 knots, and the touchdown rate was hard at -414 feet per minute.
The runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned from the centerline by 5.6 meters. The local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of 15°C, a wind speed of 1 knot from 269°, resulting in a slight crosswind and no headwind. The total landing distance was 456 meters, which was 15% of the runway length. The runway rollout alignment was also slightly misaligned from the centerline by 13.1 meters.
After landing, the aircraft taxied to the parking area from the runway, covering a distance of less than 1 nautical mile in 2 minutes. The total flight distance was 54 nautical miles, and the flight duration was 18 minutes. The aircraft used 70 kilograms of fuel during the flight.
The TBM 850 aircraft successfully landed at LZKZ Košice International Airport, achieving a score of 93.5%. The final approach was conducted from the north, heading 193.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,275 feet above ground level (agl). The aircraft landed on runway 19, which has a length of 3,105 meters.
The threshold height was satisfactory, and the threshold speed was maintained at 88 knots, indicating a well-executed approach. The touchdown distance of 311 meters was also within acceptable limits. However, the touchdown speed of 64 knots was slightly higher than the ideal speed, and the touchdown rate of -414 feet per minute (fpm) was considered hard, suggesting a slightly steeper descent than necessary.
The runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned by 5.6 meters from the centerline, which may have been due to a slight deviation in the approach or a minor issue with the aircraft's alignment during the landing. The local weather conditions were favorable, with a temperature of 15°C and a light wind of 1 knot from 269°, resulting in a negligible crosswind component.
The total landing distance of 456 meters was within 15% of the runway length, indicating a relatively short landing roll. However, the runway rollout alignment was also slightly misaligned by 13.1 meters from the centerline, suggesting a minor issue with the aircraft's alignment during the rollout phase. Overall, the landing was considered satisfactory, with some minor deviations from ideal performance.
