MY FS FLIGHTS
Flight Score
Smooth the climb
A good takeoff has a defined shape. It also has a defined end. For an airliner that's thrust reduction and acceleration, commonly somewhere around 1,000 to 1,500 ft above the airfield depending on the operator, while for a light aircraft it's established at Vy with the flaps on schedule. Most simmers have no defined end to their takeoff, which is exactly why it never gets judged.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 2,430 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 449 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with a taxiing period from the parking to the runway, which took 14 minutes and covered a distance of 3 nautical miles. The aircraft, a Cessna CJ4 Citation, then departed from runway 31R at KDAL Dallas Love Field. The takeoff distance was 461 meters, which accounted for 21% of the runway. The liftoff speed was 123 knots.
The local weather conditions at the time of departure were characterized by a temperature of -6 degrees Celsius and a wind speed of 21 knots from a direction of 350 degrees. This resulted in a crosswind of 12 knots and a headwind of 17 knots. The aircraft then began its enroute climb, which started overhead KDAL Dallas Love Field in Dallas, Texas. The climb took 18 minutes and covered a distance of 100 nautical miles, during which the aircraft ascended from an altitude of 1,501 feet above sea level to 44,355 feet above sea level, an increase of 42,855 feet.
Following the enroute climb, the aircraft entered a level cruise phase, which started 1 mile east of Liberty City, Texas. This phase lasted for 49 minutes and covered a distance of 417 nautical miles. The aircraft then began its enroute descent, which started 3 miles west of Munson, Florida. The descent took 24 minutes and covered a distance of 133 nautical miles, during which the aircraft descended from an altitude of 44,262 feet above sea level to 1,332 feet above sea level, a decrease of 42,930 feet.
The final approach to runway 09 at KTLH Tallahassee Regional Airport was made from the west, with a heading of 90.0 degrees. The aircraft was at an altitude of 1,264 feet above ground level and 4 nautical miles from the runway. The local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of 11 degrees Celsius and a wind speed of 0 knots from a direction of 236 degrees.
The landing was successful, with a touchdown speed of 88 knots and a touchdown distance of 447 meters. The touchdown rate was excellent at -71 feet per minute, and the runway touchdown alignment was perfect. The total landing distance was 993 meters, which accounted for 41% of the runway. The runway rollout alignment was also perfect. The taxiing period from the runway to the parking took 5 minutes and covered a distance of less than 1 nautical mile.
The total flight distance was 658 nautical miles, and the flight duration was 107 minutes. The aircraft used 854 kilograms of fuel during the flight.
The Cessna CJ4 Citation successfully landed at KTLH Tallahassee Regional Airport, achieving a perfect score of 100.0%. The aircraft approached the runway from the west, heading 90.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,264 feet above ground level (agl). The pilot executed a precise final approach, taking into account the runway's length of 2,430 meters.
Upon touchdown, the aircraft's threshold height was good, and the threshold speed was slightly above the target at 100 knots. The touchdown distance of 447 meters was also within acceptable limits, indicating a smooth and controlled descent. The touchdown speed of 88 knots was good, and the touchdown rate of -71 feet per minute (fpm) was excellent, demonstrating a high degree of precision and control.
The local weather conditions at the time of landing were favorable, with a temperature of 11°C and a wind speed of 0 knots from 236°. This resulted in a zero crosswind and headwind, making the landing even more challenging and impressive. The total landing distance of 993 meters was 41% of the runway length, indicating a well-executed landing.
The runway rollout alignment was perfect, demonstrating the pilot's exceptional skill and control. Overall, the Cessna CJ4 Citation's landing at KTLH Tallahassee Regional Airport was a textbook example of precision and control, earning a perfect score of 100.0%.
