Monitor your taxi speed
Twenty knots on a monitor produces the visual sensation of about ten. The advice to "taxi at a walking pace" cannot fix this, because your sense of walking pace is exactly the thing that's broken. Put the groundspeed readout in your scan and obey it for the next fifty flights, the way a student pilot leans on the airspeed indicator before learning to read attitude.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 1,533 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 441 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with the Vision Jet taxiing from the parking area to the runway at KPAM Tyndall Air Force Base, taking approximately 4 minutes to cover a distance of 2 nautical miles. The departure roll took place on runway 32L, with a takeoff distance of 344 meters, which accounted for 12% of the runway. The aircraft lifted off at a speed of 89 knots.
As the aircraft climbed away from the airfield, it encountered local weather conditions of 16°C temperature and a wind speed of 1 knot from 270°. The crosswind and headwind components were both 1 knot. The enroute climb started overhead KPAM Tyndall Air Force Base, where the aircraft ascended from 625 feet above sea level to 11,011 feet above sea level, an increase of 10,386 feet in just 5 minutes, covering a distance of 12 nautical miles.
Following the climb, the aircraft entered a level cruise phase, starting 4 miles south of Panama City Beach, Florida. This phase lasted for 2 minutes and covered a distance of 7 nautical miles. The aircraft then began its descent, starting 5 miles south of Laguna Beach, Florida, and descended from 11,008 feet above sea level to 897 feet above sea level, a decrease of 10,110 feet in 5 minutes, covering a distance of 20 nautical miles.
The enroute level cruise phase resumed 3 miles west of KSES Seaside Airport, lasting for 3 minutes and covering a distance of 6 nautical miles. The final approach to runway 36 at KNIE Niceville Airport was made from the south, with a heading of 1.0° at 4 nautical miles and 1,185 feet above ground level.
The landing on runway 36 at KNIE Niceville Airport was successful, with a touchdown distance of 436 meters, which was considered good. However, the touchdown speed of 74 knots was a little fast, and the touchdown rate was smooth at -148 feet per minute. The runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned by 4.2 meters from the centreline. The local weather conditions at the time of landing were 15°C temperature and a wind speed of 1 knot from 270°, with a crosswind component of 1 knot and a headwind component of 0 knots.
The total landing distance was 570 meters, which accounted for 37% of the runway. The runway rollout alignment was also slightly misaligned by 9.2 meters from the centreline. The taxiing to the parking area from the runway took less than 1 minute and covered a distance of less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 52 nautical miles, taking approximately 24 minutes, and the aircraft used 81 kilograms of fuel during the flight.
The Vision Jet aircraft successfully landed at KNIE Niceville Airport, achieving an overall score of 87.3%. The final approach to runway 36 was initiated from the south, with a heading of 1.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,185 feet above ground level (agl). The aircraft successfully touched down on the runway, which has a length of 1,533 meters.
However, there were some areas for improvement during the landing. The threshold height at 74 feet agl was well above the target, indicating that the aircraft may have been slightly high on its approach. Additionally, the threshold speed was too high at 87 knots, suggesting that the pilot may have been able to flare the aircraft more effectively to reduce the touchdown speed.
The touchdown distance of 436 meters was considered good, but the touchdown speed of 74 knots was a little fast. The touchdown rate of -148 feet per minute (fpm) was smooth, indicating that the aircraft was able to absorb the impact of touchdown effectively. Unfortunately, the runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned by 4.2 meters from the centerline, which may have been due to a slight deviation in the pilot's alignment during the approach.
The local weather conditions at the time of the landing were relatively calm, with a temperature of 15°C and a wind speed of 1 knot from 270°. The crosswind component was minimal at 1 knot, and there was no headwind component. The total landing distance of 570 meters was 37% of the runway length, which is a relatively short distance.
During the rollout, the aircraft's alignment was slightly misaligned by 9.2 meters from the centerline, which may have been due to a slight deviation in the pilot's control inputs during the rollout phase. Overall, the Vision Jet aircraft performed well during the landing, but there were some areas for improvement that the pilot can work on to refine their skills.
