Work on the flare
Arrive slow and the sink rate at the threshold is already above schedule, the flare is short because there is no energy to extend it, and the touchdown is hard in a way that feels exactly like a late flare. Diagnosing a slow arrival as a late flare is the catastrophic misread: you respond by flaring earlier, which bleeds more speed, which makes the next one worse. The tiebreaker is threshold speed against VRef, not feel. Never diagnose a flare without it.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 1,194 m of the approach.
Plan view — the full 1,194 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 128 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The aircraft taxied to runway 08 at EHTE Teuge Airport and commenced the departure roll. Takeoff was achieved after a ground run of 334 m, representing 28 % of the available runway, with liftoff occurring at 76 kt. Ambient conditions were 12 °C with a wind of 1 kt from 68°, resulting in a 1 kt headwind component and zero cross-wind.
Climb began directly overhead Teuge, lifting the airplane from 704 ft asl to 731 ft asl, an altitude gain of 27 ft achieved in one minute while covering one nautical mile.
Level cruise was established one mile southeast of Teuge and persisted for two minutes, during which the aircraft progressed three nautical miles.
The final approach to runway 08 was flown from the west on a heading of 86.0°, descending to 60 ft agl at the runway threshold.
Landing was executed on runway 08, whose length is 1,194 m. The threshold speed was slightly below the target at 60 kt. Touchdown occurred 127 m down the runway at 50 kt with a vertical speed of minus 51 fpm, and alignment at touchdown was judged very good. Local weather remained 12 °C with a wind of 1 kt from 74°, giving a 1 kt headwind and no cross-wind. The total landing roll measured 376 m, equivalent to 32 % of the runway, and rollout alignment was perfect.
During rollout the aircraft remained on the centreline, decelerated efficiently, and came to a stop well within the remaining runway length.
In total the flight covered 6 nm, required four minutes of elapsed time, and consumed 19 kg of fuel.
The Black Square Commander 114TC N177AQ established the final approach to runway 08 at Teuge Airport on a heading of 86.0 ° while 0 nm from the threshold and 60 ft above ground level. Local conditions were temperature 12 °C, wind 1 kt from 074 °, with a cross-wind component of 0 kt and a head-wind component of 1 kt, and the threshold height was reported as good.
At the threshold the aircraft’s speed was a little below target at 60 kt, and the flare was executed from the appropriate height for the aircraft type.
Touchdown occurred 127 m down the runway at a speed of 50 kt, with a vertical rate of minus 51 fpm and runway-touchdown alignment described as very good.
The rollout covered a total landing distance of 376 m, representing 32 % of the 1,194 m runway, and runway-rollout alignment was perfect.
With a final score of 100.0 % the landing was exemplary; fine-tuning the threshold speed to match the target value would bring the approach even closer to the optimum profile.
