Improve the taxi
Twenty knots on a monitor produces the visual sensation of about ten. The advice to "taxi at a walking pace" cannot fix this, because your sense of walking pace is exactly the thing that's broken. Put the groundspeed readout in your scan and obey it for the next fifty flights, the way a student pilot leans on the airspeed indicator before learning to read attitude.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 3,666 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 456 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with a taxiing period from the parking area to the runway, which took approximately 2 minutes and covered less than 1 nautical mile. The aircraft, a Boeing 737-800, then departed from runway 11 at LTAZ Nevşehir Kapadokya Airport. The takeoff distance was 1,712 meters, which accounted for 57% of the runway. The liftoff speed was 154 knots.
As the aircraft took to the skies, it encountered local weather conditions with a temperature of 22 degrees Celsius and a wind speed of 2 knots at 120 degrees. The crosswind was negligible, but there was a headwind of 1 knot. The enroute climb began 2 miles west of Gulsehir, Turkey, and the aircraft ascended from 4,165 feet above sea level to 36,897 feet above sea level, an increase of 32,732 feet in 40 minutes, covering a distance of 299 nautical miles.
The enroute level cruise started 2 miles south-west of Kulp, Turkey, and lasted for 107 minutes, covering a distance of 875 nautical miles. The aircraft then began its enroute descent 14 miles east of OISJ Jahrom Airport, Jahrom, Iran, and descended from 36,705 feet above sea level to 1,278 feet above sea level, a decrease of 35,428 feet in 22 minutes, covering a distance of 156 nautical miles.
The final approach to runway 21L at OIKB Bandar Abbas International Airport was made from the north-east, heading 207.0 degrees at 4 nautical miles and 1,243 feet above ground level. The landing on runway 21L was successful, with a runway length of 3,666 meters. The threshold height was good, and the threshold speed was also good at 144 knots. The touchdown distance was 458 meters, and the touchdown speed was 134 knots, which was good. However, the touchdown rate was fair at -224 feet per minute.
The runway touchdown alignment was very good, and the local weather conditions at the time of landing were a temperature of 42 degrees Celsius and a wind speed of 4 knots at 210 degrees. The crosswind was negligible, but there was a headwind of 4 knots. The total landing distance was 1,221 meters, which accounted for 33% of the runway. The runway rollout alignment was perfect.
After landing, the aircraft taxied to the parking area, which took approximately 2 minutes and covered less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 1,338 nautical miles, and the flight duration was 176 minutes. The aircraft used 8,581 kilograms of fuel during the flight.
The Boeing 737-800 aircraft successfully landed at OIKB Bandar Abbas International Airport on runway 21L, achieving a high score of 99.7%. The final approach was conducted from the north-east, heading 207.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,243 feet above ground level (agl). The aircraft maintained a good threshold height, and the threshold speed was also satisfactory at 144 knots.
Upon touchdown, the aircraft demonstrated a good performance, with a touchdown distance of 458 meters and a touchdown speed of 134 knots. However, the touchdown rate was slightly below average at -224 feet per minute (fpm), which could be considered fair. The runway touchdown alignment was very good, indicating that the aircraft was properly aligned with the runway during the landing.
The local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a high temperature of 42°C and a light wind of 4 knots from 210°. The crosswind component was negligible at 0 knots, while the headwind component was 4 knots, which was favorable for the landing. The total landing distance was 1,221 meters, which accounted for approximately 33% of the runway length. This is a relatively short landing distance, indicating that the aircraft was able to touch down and stop within a reasonable distance.
The runway rollout alignment was perfect, demonstrating that the aircraft was properly aligned with the runway during the rollout phase. Overall, the landing was successful, and the aircraft was able to touch down and stop within a safe distance, despite the challenging weather conditions.
