Monitor your taxi speed
Twenty knots on a monitor produces the visual sensation of about ten. The advice to "taxi at a walking pace" cannot fix this, because your sense of walking pace is exactly the thing that's broken. Put the groundspeed readout in your scan and obey it for the next fifty flights, the way a student pilot leans on the airspeed indicator before learning to read attitude.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 3,201 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 299 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with a taxiing period from the parking to the runway, which took 9 minutes and covered a distance of 2 nautical miles. The aircraft, a Cessna CJ4 Citation, then departed from runway 22 at RPVM Mactan Cebu International Airport. The takeoff distance was 507 meters, which accounted for 15% of the runway. The liftoff speed was 116 knots.
The local weather conditions at the time of departure were characterized by a temperature of 28 degrees Celsius, with a wind speed of 3 knots at a direction of 260 degrees. This resulted in a crosswind of 2 knots and a headwind of 2 knots. The aircraft then began its enroute climb, which started overhead RPVM Mactan Cebu International Airport in Lapu-Lapu City, Central Visayas, Philippines. The climb took 12 minutes and covered a distance of 56 nautical miles, with the aircraft ascending from 1,057 feet above sea level to 33,366 feet above sea level, an increase of 32,308 feet.
Following the enroute climb, the aircraft entered a level cruise phase, which started 8 miles north of Sagay in Western Visayas, Philippines. This phase lasted for 25 minutes and covered a distance of 200 nautical miles. The aircraft then began its enroute descent, which started 4 miles southeast of Concepcion Ibaba in Calabarzon, Philippines. The descent took 24 minutes and covered a distance of 100 nautical miles, with the aircraft descending from 33,373 feet above sea level to 1,674 feet above sea level, a decrease of 31,699 feet.
The final approach to runway 20 at RPLC Clark International Airport/Clark Air Base was made from the north, with the aircraft heading 201.0 degrees at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,238 feet above ground level. The landing was made on runway 20, which had a length of 3,201 meters. The threshold height was good, and the threshold speed was slightly below the target at 88 knots. The touchdown distance was good at 297 meters, and the touchdown speed was 80 knots, which was also good. The touchdown rate was perfect at -41 feet per minute.
The runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned by 4.9 meters from the centerline. The local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of 25 degrees Celsius, with a wind speed of 3 knots at a direction of 220 degrees. This resulted in a crosswind of 1 knot and a headwind of 3 knots. The total landing distance was 1,305 meters, which accounted for 41% of the runway. The runway rollout alignment was very good.
The taxiing period from the runway to the parking took 3 minutes and covered a distance of less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 364 nautical miles, which was covered in 74 minutes. The aircraft used 739 kilograms of fuel during the flight.
The Cessna CJ4 Citation successfully landed at RPLC Clark International Airport / Clark Air Base, achieving a score of 96.7%. The aircraft approached the runway from the north, heading 201.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,238 feet above ground level (agl). The final approach was executed with precision, and the aircraft touched down on runway 20, which has a length of 3,201 meters.
The threshold height was satisfactory, and the threshold speed was slightly below the target at 88 knots. This indicates that the pilot managed to control the aircraft's descent and speed effectively. The touchdown distance of 297 meters was also within acceptable limits, and the touchdown speed of 80 knots was good. The touchdown rate of -41 feet per minute (fpm) was perfect, demonstrating excellent control and precision.
However, there was a slight deviation in the runway touchdown position, with the aircraft being 4.9 meters off-centerline. This may be attributed to the crosswind component, which was 1 knot, and the headwind, which was 3 knots. The local weather conditions, with a temperature of 25°C and a wind speed of 3 knots at 220°, did not pose significant challenges to the landing.
The total landing distance of 1,305 meters was 41% of the runway length, which is a reasonable figure. The runway rollout alignment was very good, indicating that the pilot maintained control of the aircraft during the rollout phase. Overall, the landing was executed with precision and control, and the pilot's skills were demonstrated through the successful completion of the landing.
