Improve the taxi
Twenty knots on a monitor produces the visual sensation of about ten. The advice to "taxi at a walking pace" cannot fix this, because your sense of walking pace is exactly the thing that's broken. Put the groundspeed readout in your scan and obey it for the next fifty flights, the way a student pilot leans on the airspeed indicator before learning to read attitude.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 3,509 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 102 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with the Airbus A300 taxiing from the parking area to the runway at Athens Eleftherios Venizelos International Airport, taking approximately 5 minutes and covering less than 1 nautical mile. The departure roll took place on runway 03R, with a takeoff distance of 1,446 meters, which is 42% of the runway length. The aircraft lifted off at a speed of 171 knots.
As the aircraft climbed to its cruising altitude, it encountered local weather conditions of 8°C temperature and a wind speed of 20 knots at 30 degrees. The crosswind was 2 knots, while the headwind was 20 knots. The enroute climb started 1 mile southwest of Artemida, Greece, and reached an altitude of 33,151 feet above sea level, an increase of 31,833 feet in 19 minutes, covering a distance of 88 nautical miles.
The aircraft then entered a level cruise, starting 1 mile northwest of Kalavryta, Greece, and lasted for 97 minutes, covering a distance of 668 nautical miles. The enroute descent started 15 miles southwest of Riomaggiore, Italy, and descended from 33,618 feet to 5,462 feet above sea level, a decrease of 28,156 feet in 20 minutes, covering a distance of 84 nautical miles.
The aircraft then entered another level cruise, starting 1 mile south of Olevano di Lomellina, Italy, and lasted for 4 minutes, covering a distance of 10 nautical miles. The enroute descent started 1 mile southwest of Sannazzaro de' Burgondi, Italy, and descended from 4,810 feet to 3,847 feet above sea level, a decrease of 964 feet in 2 minutes, covering a distance of 6 nautical miles.
The aircraft then entered another level cruise, starting 1 mile southwest of Tromello, Italy, and lasted for 11 minutes, covering a distance of 15 nautical miles. The enroute descent started 1 mile north of Cerano, Italy, and descended from 3,840 feet to 1,991 feet above sea level, a decrease of 1,849 feet in 3 minutes, covering a distance of 8 nautical miles.
The final approach to runway 35L at Milan Malpensa International Airport was made from the south, heading 349.0 degrees at 4 nautical miles and 1,255 feet above ground level. The landing took place on runway 35L, which is 3,509 meters long. The threshold height was good, and the threshold speed was also good at 129 knots.
The touchdown distance was good at 104 meters, and the touchdown speed was 127 knots, which was also good. The touchdown rate was firm at -339 feet per minute. The runway touchdown alignment was very good, and the local weather conditions were 8°C temperature and a wind speed of 4 knots at 250 degrees, with a crosswind of 4 knots and a tailwind of 1 knot.
The total landing distance was 1,382 meters, which is 39% of the runway length. The runway rollout alignment was also very good. The taxiing to the parking area from the runway took approximately 11 minutes and covered a distance of 2 nautical miles.
The total flight distance was 886 nautical miles, taking a total of 166 minutes, and the aircraft used 13,585 kilograms of fuel during the flight.
The Airbus A300 successfully landed on runway 35L at LIMC Milan Malpensa International Airport, achieving a high score of 98.3%. The aircraft approached the runway from the south, heading 349.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,255 feet above ground level (agl). The pilot maintained a good threshold height, which is a critical aspect of a safe landing.
Upon touchdown, the aircraft's threshold speed was recorded at 129 knots, which is within the acceptable range. The touchdown distance of 104 meters was also satisfactory, indicating that the pilot had sufficient control over the aircraft during the landing process. The touchdown speed of 127 knots was also within the acceptable limits, and the touchdown rate of -339 feet per minute (fpm) was firm but not excessive.
The local weather conditions at the time of landing were favorable, with a temperature of 8°C and a wind speed of 4 knots from 250°. The crosswind component was 4 knots, while the tailwind component was 1 knot. Despite these conditions, the pilot successfully aligned the aircraft with the runway and maintained a very good runway touchdown alignment.
The total landing distance of 1,382 meters was 39% of the runway length, which is a relatively short distance considering the aircraft's size and weight. The runway rollout alignment was also very good, indicating that the pilot had maintained control over the aircraft during the rollout phase.
Overall, the landing was executed smoothly and safely, with the pilot demonstrating excellent skills and control over the aircraft. The high score of 98.3% reflects the pilot's expertise and the aircraft's performance during the landing process.
