A small uncorrected heading error at 40 knots becomes a metre of offset per second by 100 knots, noticed only at rotation, producing a crabbed liftoff. Root cause is nearly always eyes on the tape instead of the far end of the runway. Small heading changes displace a distant point visibly long before the nearby centreline stripes look wrong.

The approach before the go-around was abandoned. Its marks are shown, but only the approach that landed counts.

From brake release to the end of the climb, against time, then the takeoff point by point.
Lifted off at 129 kt with 9.7° of pitch. Climb 3 held close to its 164 kt target, at 160 kt on average.
Two traces from brake release: the airspeed on top, and below it the pitch, which is how far the nose is above the horizon. The figure at liftoff is the pitch then. The shaded stretch is Climb 3, the part of the climb scored on holding the climb speed.
The takeoff, point by point
Side view from the start of the roll to the end of Climb 3 at 786 ft.
Reached 35 ft with 506 m of runway left; gear up at 26 ft, inside the 400 ft that gets full marks; then climbing at 1,920 fpm on average to 786 ft.
The takeoff from the side: the height above the runway against the distance along it. The numbers along the runway are the speeds reached at each point. Lifting off in the amber last quarter of the runway costs marks for the roll length. The gear-up ring is coloured by its mark. The shaded stretch is Climb 3, scored on its average speed against the target.
Plan view the roll down the 1,796 m runway.
Rolled from 64 m in, drifted right of the centreline, 9.4 m at the widest, and lifted off 9.5 m right. Airborne 51 % of the way down the runway, before the 75 % line.
The roll from above, with your left at the top. The line is where the wheels went, and "widest" is the furthest you drifted off the centreline. Lifting off before the amber 75 % line gets full marks for the roll length.
The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
The final from 4 nm.
Profile height against the 3° glideslope, with its 1° band in green.
Inside the glideslope band from 4 nm to the threshold, never more than 260 ft above the slope.
Your height above the runway against the distance still to go. The glideslope is the steady descent path to the aiming point, 305 m past the threshold: 3° here, which is about 320 ft for every nautical mile out, crossing the threshold at about 50 ft. The row under the distances is the height it puts you at. Inside the green band your path is drawn green; outside it, amber.
Plan distance off the extended centreline, your left at the top, with the 1° band. Sideways distances are drawn 3× larger than distances along the final.
Inside the 1° band from 4 nm to 2.0 nm, then 167 m right of it from 2.0 nm to the threshold.
Looking down from above, flying left to right towards the runway: up the page is left of the centreline, down is right. Sideways distances are stretched so that small drifts show, so a line that looks wild here may be only a few tens of feet. The labels are how far off you were at each distance, amber when outside the band.
The rest of the report
The Airbus A320-ceo departed EKVG Vágar Airport on runway 12, applying a take-off roll of 915 m which represented 51 % of the available runway. Liftoff was achieved at 129 kt. Ambient conditions were 13 °C with a wind of 17 kt from 140°, providing a 16 kt head-wind component and a 7 kt cross-wind.
Climb commenced one mile south-east of the airport, with the aircraft accelerating from 1,134 ft asl to 3,901 ft asl, a gain of 2,767 ft over two minutes while covering eight nautical miles.
Descent began three miles south of Sorvagur, descending from 3,803 ft asl to 1,729 ft asl, a loss of 2,074 ft in two minutes and traversing seven nautical miles.
The first final approach to runway 12 at EKVG reduced altitude from 1,769 ft agl to 59 ft agl in 100 seconds, and the flight was recorded as having met the stabilisation-gate criteria.
A go-around was executed on runway 12 at an altitude of 29 ft agl, after which the aircraft re-entered the approach phase.
During the second final approach to runway 12, the aircraft descended from 1,596 ft agl to 54 ft agl in 115 seconds, again scoring on the stabilisation gates.
Landing was completed on runway 12, whose total length is 1,796 m. The threshold speed was 129 kt, touchdown occurred 277 m down the runway at 123 kt, and the vertical speed at touchdown was minus 67 fpm. The touchdown point was offset by 3.4 m from the centreline. Weather at landing was 11 °C with a wind of 20 kt from 128°, giving a 20 kt head-wind and a 4 kt cross-wind. Total landing distance measured 781 m, representing 43 % of the runway, and rollout alignment was judged very good.
In total, the flight covered 43 nm, required 15 (units as provided) and consumed 23 kg of fuel.
