Fixing the bounce
Fast at the threshold, normal flare, and the runway seems to refuse the aircraft. The instinctive fix - pushing it on - causes the next one. A fast aircraft forced onto the runway touches nosewheel-first or nearly so. The tell is a touchdown that feels soft followed by a bounce that steepens. Pilots fix the bounce recovery; the cause was the 10 knots at the threshold.

From brake release to the end of the climb, against time, then the takeoff point by point.
Lifted off at 72 kt with 3.3° of pitch.
Two traces from brake release: the airspeed on top, and below it the pitch, which is how far the nose is above the horizon. The figure at liftoff is the pitch then.
The takeoff, point by point
Side view from the start of the roll to 203 ft.
Reached 35 ft with 3,770 ft of runway left; then climbing at 430 fpm on average to 203 ft.
The takeoff from the side: the height above the runway against the distance along it. The numbers along the runway are the speeds reached at each point. Lifting off in the amber last quarter of the runway costs marks for the roll length.
Plan view the roll down the 6,981 ft runway.
Rolled from 339 ft in, drifted left of the centreline, 14 ft at the widest, and lifted off 14 ft left. Airborne 25 % of the way down the runway, before the 75 % line.
The roll from above, with your left at the top. The line is where the wheels went, and "widest" is the furthest you drifted off the centreline. Lifting off before the amber 75 % line gets full marks for the roll length.
The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
The final from 4 nm.
Profile height against the 3° glideslope, with its 2° band in green.
Inside the glideslope band from 3.4 nm, where the final began, to the threshold, never more than 300 ft below the slope.
Your height above the runway against the distance still to go. The glideslope is the steady descent path to the aiming point, 1,000 ft past the threshold: 3° here, which is about 320 ft for every nautical mile out, crossing the threshold at about 50 ft. The row under the distances is the height it puts you at. Inside the green band your path is drawn green; outside it, amber.
Plan distance off the extended centreline, your left at the top, with the 1° band. Sideways distances are drawn 3× larger than distances along the final.
Joined 1,820 ft left of the centreline at 3.4 nm, then inside the band from 3.1 nm to the threshold.
Looking down from above, flying left to right towards the runway: up the page is left of the centreline, down is right. Sideways distances are stretched so that small drifts show, so a line that looks wild here may be only a few tens of feet. The labels are how far off you were at each distance, amber when outside the band.
The rest of the report
The Piper PA-24 Comanche taxied from the parking area to runway 16 at Cork Airport (EICK) in 4 minutes, covering approximately 1 nm on the ground.
Departure roll commenced on runway 16 at EICK, with a takeoff run of 1,819 ft (26 % of the runway) and liftoff achieved at 73 kt. Ambient conditions were 58 °F with a 3-kt wind from 160°, providing a 3-kt headwind and no crosswind.
Climb began overhead the departure airport, raising the aircraft from 685 ft asl to 934 ft asl, an altitude gain of 249 ft in 1 minute while covering 1 nm.
A level cruise segment followed overhead Ballygarvan, lasting 2 minutes and extending for 2 nm.
A second climb started 2 mi south of Ballygarvan, increasing altitude from 970 ft asl to 3,431 ft asl, a gain of 2,461 ft in 5 minutes and covering 7 nm.
The aircraft then entered a prolonged cruise 4 mi south of Fountainstown, maintaining level flight for 97 minutes and traversing 251 nm.
Descent commenced overhead Coat-Meal in Bretagne, France, descending from 3,183 ft asl to 745 ft asl, a loss of 2,438 ft in 3 minutes while covering 7 nm.
Final approach to runway 07R at Brest Bretagne Airport (LFRB) involved a descent from 632 ft agl to -139 ft agl over 157 seconds, with the aircraft scoring on the stabilisation gates.
Landing on runway 07R was executed on a 10,157-ft runway; the threshold speed was recorded at 61 kt, touchdown occurred 529 ft down the runway at 55 kt, and the vertical speed at touchdown was minus 273 fpm. Runway touchdown alignment was perfect, and local weather reported 57 °F with a 2-kt wind from 9°, giving a 1-kt headwind and 1-kt crosswind. The total landing roll measured 1,789 ft, representing 18 % of the runway length.
Runway rollout alignment remained perfect throughout the deceleration phase.
The aircraft taxied from the runway to the parking area in 2 minutes, covering less than 1 nm on the taxiway.
In total, the flight covered 274 nm, required 119 minutes of elapsed time, and consumed 167 lb of fuel.
