MY FS FLIGHTS
Flight Score
Departure
Roll the wings level with aileron and hold bank within limits as you establish the climb.
What happened: Bank increased to 1° during the initial climb, and wings stayed over-banked at 1.1° into the next climb segment.
Watch for: Attitude indicator bank angle, aiming to keep it near wings-level
Arrival
Reduce power earlier on final to bleed speed back to 121 kt before crossing the threshold.
What happened: You crossed the threshold at 129 kt, 8 kt above the 121 kt target.
Watch for: Airspeed, targeting 121 kt at the threshold.

A good takeoff has a defined shape. It also has a defined end. For an airliner that's thrust reduction and acceleration, commonly somewhere around 1,000 to 1,500 ft above the airfield depending on the operator, while for a light aircraft it's established at Vy with the flaps on schedule. Most simmers have no defined end to their takeoff, which is exactly why it never gets judged.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
Two stabilised approach gates, each with seven checks, where the approach path is 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 1,846 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,846 m of the 2,862 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 338 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight in question involved an Airbus A321 aircraft departing from London Heathrow Airport's runway 27L. After a 16-minute taxi to the runway, the aircraft took off into a headwind of 12 kt and a crosswind of 21 kt, with a liftoff speed of 141 kt.
As the aircraft entered the enroute climb phase, it rose from 1,114 ft above sea level to 17,686 ft in just 6 minutes, covering a distance of 29 nm. The climb profile took place over various locations in England, starting 1 mile south of Harmondsworth in Greater London, followed by a cruise from overhead Stoke Hammond in Buckinghamshire before descending over Melbourne in Derbyshire.
Over the course of the enroute flight, the aircraft underwent multiple climbs and descents as it traveled towards its destination. The aircraft then entered the final approach phase, which involved descending from 4,070 ft to 2,810 ft in just 2 minutes while approaching runway 05R at Manchester Airport from a south-westerly direction. The aircraft touched down with a speed of 120 kt, which was slightly above the target, and a touchdown rate of -259 fpm.
Upon landing, the aircraft rolled out 61% of the runway length, with a touchdown distance of 339 m. Runway rollout alignment was very good, with the aircraft coming to a stop slightly misaligned from the centreline by 3.9 m. The local weather at the time of landing consisted of a temperature of 10 °C, a wind speed of 19 kt from a direction of 20 °, a crosswind of 10 kt, and a headwind of 17 kt.
Taxiing to the parking area from the runway took a further 15 minutes, covering a distance of 1 nm. Overall, the flight covered a total distance of 153 nm and lasted 48 minutes. The aircraft utilized 2,166 kg of fuel throughout the flight.
The Airbus A321 successfully landed at EGCC Manchester Airport, scoring an impressive 99.2%. The aircraft approached the runway 05R from the south west with a heading of 51.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,256 feet above ground level. This approach angle provided a clear landing path onto the designated runway.
During the landing, the aircraft touched down at a speed of 130 knots, significantly above the target threshold speed. This high touchdown speed is typically undesirable as it can lead to longer stopping distances, but in this case, the aircraft managed to stop within a safe distance. The actual touchdown speed was slightly fast at 120 knots, resulting in a fair touchdown rate of -259 feet per minute.
The pilot's judgment of the aircraft's descent and touchdown point proved to be somewhat inaccurate, with the aircraft touching down slightly off-centerline by 3.9 meters from the runway's centerline. However, the runway rollout alignment after touchdown was extremely good, indicating that the aircraft's post-touchdown control was well-maintained.
Given the weather conditions, the pilots had to deal with a relatively strong crosswind of 10 knots and a significant headwind of 17 knots. These conditions demanded precise control of the aircraft, particularly during the final stages of the approach and touchdown. Despite these challenging conditions, the landing was successful, with the total landing distance being 1,758 meters, which equated to 61% of the available runway length. Although there were some areas for improvement, the pilots demonstrated good flying skills and the aircraft performed admirably, making it a commendable landing operation.
