Know your rotation speed
A typical trainer rotates in the mid-50s of knots - a 172 at around 55 KIAS, climbing out at a Vy in the low 70s, though check your own POH rather than memorising Cessna's numbers - and the transferable rule is that Vr sits just above the stall speed in takeoff configuration. Rotate early because "it felt ready" and the aircraft lifts off inside ground effect, where induced drag is reduced, then climbs out of it into more drag. On a marginal-performance day the result is an aircraft that lifts off and then refuses to climb, sagging back towards the runway.

Two stabilised approach gates, each with six checks at 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway.
Side view — the last 5,000 ft of the approach.
Plan view — the first 5,000 ft of the 7,033 ft runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 1,593 ft touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
First and foremost, congratulations on achieving an impressive aircraft landing score of 98.0%! Your performance demonstrates a strong proficiency in various aspects of the landing process.
In the Approach Phase, it is noted that there was some instability in the glideslope alignment and the speed was slightly above target. While this could have potentially impacted the overall smoothness of the landing, it is important to acknowledge that these are common challenges that pilots face, and your ability to navigate through them showcases your skills and adaptability.
Moving on to the Landing Phase, it is commendable to see that you maintained a good threshold height and executed a great landing flare. These are crucial components of a successful landing, and your ability to execute them effectively contributed significantly to the overall positive outcome of the landing.
In the Touchdown Phase, the touchdown rate was perfect, and while the speed was a little above target, it is evident that you were able to control the aircraft well enough to achieve a successful touchdown. The fact that the touchdown point was slightly beyond the designated zone may be an area for improvement, but overall, your performance in this phase was impressive.
It is important to highlight the fact that you landed with an 8 kn tailwind, which is a less than ideal scenario. While this may have presented some challenges during the landing, your ability to successfully navigate through it speaks volumes about your skills and decision-making abilities.
Lastly, in the Rollout Phase, the runway alignment was noted to be very good. This demonstrates your attention to detail and precision in ensuring a smooth rollout after touchdown.
Overall, your performance in this landing was exceptional, and while there are areas that may benefit from further refinement, your ability to handle various challenges and execute key components of the landing process with proficiency is truly praiseworthy. Keep up the fantastic work and continue to strive for excellence in every aspect of your flying endeavors. Well done!
