Improve the rollout
A crosswind landing is a geometry problem. The air mass you're flying in is moving sideways across the runway, and you need your ground track down the centreline with your wheels aligned to it at the moment of contact. There are two techniques that will help, the crab and the sideslip.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
Two stabilised approach gates, each with seven checks, where the approach path is 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway.
At the 500 ft gate: speed above the reference speed.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 1,845 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,845 m of the 2,783 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 384 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with a departure roll from runway 26L at Munich Airport (EDDM). The Airbus A321 took off with a takeoff distance of 1,211 meters, which was 30% of the runway length. The liftoff speed was 152 knots. At the time of departure, the local weather conditions were a temperature of 2°C, with a wind speed of 11 knots at 299°. The crosswind component was 7 knots, while the headwind component was 9 knots.
As the aircraft climbed, it started its enroute climb overhead Hallbergmoos in Bavaria, Germany. The climb took the aircraft from an altitude of 2,519 feet above sea level to 34,711 feet above sea level, an increase of 32,192 feet in just 19 minutes. During this time, the aircraft covered a distance of 86 nautical miles. The enroute level cruise started 1 mile west of Puclice in the Plzensky kraj region of the Czech Republic and lasted for 36 minutes, covering a distance of 251 nautical miles.
The enroute descent started 2 miles south-east of Miescisko in the Greater Poland Voivodeship, Poland. The descent took the aircraft from an altitude of 34,471 feet above sea level to 4,617 feet above sea level, a decrease of 29,854 feet in 23 minutes. During this time, the aircraft covered a distance of 108 nautical miles. The enroute level cruise started 1 mile south of Drewnica in the Pomeranian Voivodeship, Poland, and lasted for just 2 minutes, covering a distance of 5 nautical miles.
The final approach to runway 29 at Gdańsk Lech Wałęsa Airport (EPGD) was from the south-east, with a heading of 293.0° at 4 nautical miles and 1,313 feet above ground level. The landing was made on runway 29, which had a length of 2,783 meters. The threshold height was good, but the threshold speed was slightly above the target at 138 knots. The touchdown distance was good at 385 meters, but the touchdown speed was a little fast at 134 knots. The touchdown rate was fair at -266 feet per minute.
The runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned by 6.6 meters from the centreline. The local weather conditions at the time of landing were a temperature of -1°C, with a wind speed of 21 knots at 320°. The crosswind component was 9 knots, while the headwind component was 18 knots. The total landing distance was 1,757 meters, which was 63% of the runway length. The runway rollout alignment was slightly misaligned by 7.8 meters from the centreline.
After landing, the aircraft taxied to the parking area from the runway in just 3 minutes, covering a distance of less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 464 nautical miles, and the flight duration was 91 minutes. The aircraft used a total of -1,098 kilograms of fuel during the flight.
The Airbus A321 aircraft successfully landed at EPGD Gdańsk Lech Wałęsa Airport, achieving a score of 97.1%. The final approach to runway 29 was initiated from the south east, with the aircraft heading 293.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,313 feet above ground level.
The landing was executed on runway 29, which has a length of 2,783 meters. The threshold height was reported as good, indicating that the aircraft was at the correct height as it approached the runway. However, the threshold speed was slightly above the target speed of 137 kt, coming in at 138 kt. This minor deviation from the target speed did not appear to have a significant impact on the overall landing performance.
The touchdown distance was reported as good, with the aircraft touching down at a distance of 385 meters from the threshold. However, the touchdown speed was a little fast at 134 kt, which may have contributed to a slightly higher touchdown rate of -266 fpm. This rate is considered fair, indicating that the aircraft was not excessively hard on the landing gear.
The runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned from the centreline, with the aircraft deviating by 6.6 meters. This minor deviation may have been due to the crosswind component of 9 kt, which was blowing from the left. The local weather conditions at the time of the landing included a temperature of -1 °C and a wind speed of 21 kt from 320°.
The total landing distance was 1,757 meters, which is 63% of the runway length. This is a relatively short landing distance, indicating that the aircraft was able to touch down and come to a stop within a reasonable distance. However, the runway rollout alignment was slightly misaligned from the centreline, with the aircraft deviating by 7.8 meters. This minor deviation may have been due to the headwind component of 18 kt, which was blowing from the left.
Overall, the landing was considered successful, with the aircraft achieving a score of 97.1%. While there were some minor deviations from the target speeds and alignment, the aircraft was able to touch down safely and come to a stop within a reasonable distance.
