Improve the taxi
Twenty knots on a monitor produces the visual sensation of about ten. The advice to "taxi at a walking pace" cannot fix this, because your sense of walking pace is exactly the thing that's broken. Put the groundspeed readout in your scan and obey it for the next fifty flights, the way a student pilot leans on the airspeed indicator before learning to read attitude.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 2,998 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 300 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with a taxiing period from the parking to the runway, which took 5 minutes and covered a distance of 1 nautical mile. The aircraft, a Boeing 737-800, then departed from runway 34 at RJFF Fukuoka Airport. The takeoff distance was 912 meters, which accounted for 33% of the runway. The liftoff speed was 147 knots, and the local weather conditions at the time of departure were characterized by a temperature of 17°C, a wind speed of 4 knots at 310°, resulting in a crosswind of 1 knot and a headwind of 3 knots.
As the aircraft climbed out of Fukuoka, it began its enroute climb, which started 1 mile east of the airport. The climb took 21 minutes and covered a distance of 150 nautical miles, during which the aircraft ascended from an altitude of 1,030 feet above sea level to 36,978 feet above sea level, an increase of 35,948 feet. Following the climb, the aircraft entered a level cruise phase, which began 8 miles south east of Niihama in Ehime, Japan. This phase lasted for 25 minutes and covered a distance of 235 nautical miles.
As the aircraft approached its destination, it began its enroute descent, which started 4 miles south west of Oyama in Shizuoka, Japan. The descent took 20 minutes and covered a distance of 100 nautical miles, during which the aircraft descended from an altitude of 36,814 feet above sea level to 1,289 feet above sea level, a decrease of 35,526 feet. The final approach to runway 34R at RJTT Tokyo Haneda International Airport was made from the south east, heading 330.0° at an altitude of 1,250 feet above ground level and a distance of 4 nautical miles from the runway.
The landing on runway 34R was successful, with a touchdown distance of 298 meters, which was 37% of the runway length. The touchdown speed was 124 knots, and the touchdown rate was smooth at -144 feet per minute. The runway touchdown alignment was very good, and the runway rollout alignment was perfect. The local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of 19°C, a wind speed of 4 knots at 50°, resulting in a crosswind of 4 knots and a headwind of 1 knot.
The taxiing period from the runway to the parking took 2 minutes and covered a distance of less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 493 nautical miles, and the flight duration was 75 minutes. The aircraft used a total of 3,392 kilograms of fuel during the flight.
The Boeing 737-800 aircraft successfully landed at RJTT Tokyo Haneda International Airport on runway 34R, achieving a score of 99.9%. The final approach was conducted from the southeast, heading 330.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,250 feet above ground level (agl).
The aircraft's approach and landing performance were impressive, with a good threshold height and speed of 130 knots at the threshold. The touchdown distance of 298 meters was also within acceptable limits, and the touchdown speed of 124 knots was well-controlled. The touchdown rate of -144 feet per minute (fpm) was smooth, indicating a stable and controlled descent.
The local weather conditions at the time of landing were favorable, with a temperature of 19°C and a gentle wind of 4 knots at 50°. The crosswind component was minimal at 4 knots, while the headwind component was 1 knot. These conditions contributed to a stable and controlled approach.
The total landing distance of 1,103 meters was 37% of the runway length, which is a relatively short distance considering the aircraft's size and weight. This indicates that the pilot's skills and the aircraft's performance were well-coordinated, resulting in a smooth and controlled landing.
Upon touchdown, the runway rollout alignment was perfect, demonstrating the pilot's ability to maintain control and stability during the landing phase. Overall, the Boeing 737-800's landing at RJTT Tokyo Haneda International Airport was a textbook example of a well-executed and controlled approach and landing.
