Monitor your taxi speed
Twenty knots on a monitor produces the visual sensation of about ten. The advice to "taxi at a walking pace" cannot fix this, because your sense of walking pace is exactly the thing that's broken. Put the groundspeed readout in your scan and obey it for the next fifty flights, the way a student pilot leans on the airspeed indicator before learning to read attitude.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 2,329 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 230 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with the Airbus A320 taxiing from the parking area to the runway at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, taking 16 minutes and covering a distance of 4 nautical miles. Departure roll occurred on runway 19, with a takeoff distance of 1,189 meters, which accounted for 54% of the runway. The aircraft lifted off at a speed of 140 knots.
As the aircraft climbed to its cruising altitude, it encountered local weather conditions of 5°C temperature and a wind speed of 9 knots at 200°. The crosswind was 4 knots, while the headwind was 8 knots. The enroute climb started 1 mile north of Alexandria, Virginia, and reached an altitude of 34,778 feet above sea level, an increase of 33,761 feet in 19 minutes, covering a distance of 127 nautical miles.
The enroute descent began 2 miles west of Columbus, New Jersey, and descended from 34,776 feet to 27,915 feet above sea level, a decrease of 6,861 feet in 4 minutes, covering 35 nautical miles. The aircraft then entered a level cruise phase, starting overhead Union Beach, New Jersey, and lasting 9 minutes, covering 79 nautical miles.
The enroute descent continued, starting 2 miles east of Branford Center, Connecticut, and descended from 27,300 feet to 4,588 feet above sea level, a decrease of 22,712 feet in 20 minutes, covering 117 nautical miles. The aircraft then entered another level cruise phase, starting 11 miles south east of Marblehead, Massachusetts, and lasting 2 minutes, covering 8 nautical miles.
The final descent began 3 miles east of Marblehead, Massachusetts, and descended from 4,417 feet to 1,855 feet above sea level, a decrease of 2,562 feet in 2 minutes, covering 5 nautical miles. The aircraft then entered a level cruise phase, starting 1 mile north east of Salem, Massachusetts, and lasting 5 minutes, covering 7 nautical miles.
The final approach to runway 22L at Logan International Airport began from the north, heading 200.0° at 4 nautical miles and 1,264 feet above ground level. The aircraft landed on the runway, with a touchdown distance of 233 meters, slightly above the target speed of 144 knots. The touchdown speed was 136 knots, which was a little fast, and the touchdown rate was firm at -338 feet per minute.
The runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned by 5.8 meters from the centerline, but the runway rollout alignment was very good. The total landing distance was 1,123 meters, accounting for 48% of the runway. The aircraft then taxied to the parking area, taking 6 minutes and covering 1 nautical mile.
The total flight distance was 388 nautical miles, taking 78 minutes, and the aircraft used 3,256 kilograms of fuel.
The Airbus A320 successfully landed on runway 22L at KBOS Logan International Airport, achieving a score of 97.2%. The aircraft approached the runway from the north, heading 200.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,264 feet above ground level (agl). The landing was executed on a runway with a length of 2,329 meters, and the threshold height was reported as good.
During the final approach, the aircraft's speed was slightly above the target threshold speed, reaching 144 knots. However, the touchdown distance was within acceptable limits at 233 meters. The touchdown speed of 136 knots was a bit faster than desired, but the touchdown rate of -338 feet per minute (fpm) was firm, indicating a controlled descent.
The runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned from the centerline by 5.8 meters, which may have been due to factors such as wind or pilot error. The local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of 0°C, with a wind speed of 10 knots from 200°. The crosswind component was negligible, but the headwind component was 9 knots, which may have contributed to the slight misalignment.
The total landing distance of 1,123 meters was 48% of the runway length, which is within acceptable limits. The runway rollout alignment was reported as very good, indicating that the aircraft was able to maintain a stable and controlled path after touchdown. Overall, the landing was successful, and the aircraft was able to come to a stop within a reasonable distance from the runway threshold.
