Reduce your height at the threshold
Even a modest height error carries straight through to the touchdown. Geometry alone says that crossing the threshold 10 feet high on a 3° path moves your touchdown roughly 190 feet further down the runway before the flare adds anything.

The Airbus A350-900 taxied from the parking area to runway 25L at HAAB Addis Ababa Bole International Airport in 7 minutes, covering 2 nm.
During the departure roll on runway 25L, the aircraft accelerated over a distance of 8,964 ft, representing 80 % of the runway, and lifted off at 156 kt. Ambient conditions were 68 °F with a wind of 2 kt from 309°, including a 1 kt headwind and a 1 kt crosswind.
The en-route climb commenced 1 nm west of HAAB, climbing from 8,399 ft to 40,002 ft, a gain of 31,603 ft achieved in 33 minutes while covering 243 nm.
Level cruise began 8 nm southeast of HAGN Gondar Airport and continued for 157 minutes, during which the aircraft flew 1,312 nm.
Descent started 3 nm southeast of HEMM Marsa Matruh International Airport, descending from 40,000 ft to 39,264 ft, a loss of 736 ft in 2 minutes over a distance of 12 nm.
A subsequent climb was initiated 7 nm northwest of Mersa Matruh, raising altitude from 39,112 ft to 40,004 ft, an increase of 891 ft completed in 2 minutes across 12 nm.
The next cruise segment began 22 nm northwest of Mersa Matruh and lasted 108 minutes, covering 852 nm at cruise altitude.
Descent over Alvignano, Italy, commenced from 39,999 ft and proceeded to 1,317 ft, a reduction of 38,682 ft accomplished in 23 minutes while traversing 127 nm.
The final approach to runway 16R at LIRF Rome-Fiumicino was flown from the north on a heading of 163.0° at 4 nm and 1,299 ft agl.
Touchdown occurred on runway 16R, whose length is 12,789 ft; the threshold height of 78 ft agl was above target and the threshold speed was 132 kt. The aircraft contacted the runway 1,388 ft beyond the touchdown zone at a speed of 130 kt, with a firm descent rate of minus 320 fpm and a lateral deviation of 29 ft from the centreline. Local weather reported 70 °F, wind 2 kt from 310°, a 1 kt crosswind and a 1 kt tailwind.
The total landing roll measured 5,500 ft, representing 43 % of the runway, and the rollout alignment was very good.

The Airbus A350-900 approached runway 16R at LIRF from the north on a heading of 163.0° at 4 nm and 1,299 ft agl, and the final approach was assessed as stabilised at the 1,000 ft gate with gear, flaps, sink rate, glideslope and centreline all within limits.
At the threshold the height was 78 ft agl, well above the target, and the threshold speed was good at 132 kt.
Touchdown occurred 1,388 ft beyond the touchdown zone with a speed of 130 kt, noted as a little fast, and the aircraft settled with a firm rate of -320 fpm; the touchdown point was misaligned by 29 ft from the centreline.
The rollout covered a total landing distance of 5,500 ft, representing 43 % of the 12,789 ft runway, and runway rollout alignment was very good.
To improve the score, reduce touchdown speed toward the target VREF to lessen the firm vertical rate, and refine the flare to achieve a touchdown point closer to the intended zone and improve centreline alignment.
