MY FS FLIGHTS
Flight Score
Work on the flare
Arrive slow and the sink rate at the threshold is already above schedule, the flare is short because there is no energy to extend it, and the touchdown is hard in a way that feels exactly like a late flare. Diagnosing a slow arrival as a late flare is the catastrophic misread: you respond by flaring earlier, which bleeds more speed, which makes the next one worse. The tiebreaker is threshold speed against VRef, not feel. Never diagnose a flare without it.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,802 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,802 m of the 2,649 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 597 m past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight in the Airbus A321 from MBPV Providenciales International Airport to KCLT Charlotte Douglas International Airport was smooth and efficient.
The taxiing from the parking to the runway at MBPV took 7 minutes and covered less than 1 nm. The average speed during the taxi was 5 knots.
The departure roll from runway 10 at MBPV required a takeoff distance of 1,672 meters, with the aircraft reaching liftoff speed at 166 knots. The local weather at departure included a temperature of 30°C, with a 10 knot wind at 122°, resulting in a crosswind of 5 knots and a headwind of 9 knots.
The enroute climb started 1 mile east of MBPV, taking the aircraft from 1,012 feet above sea level to 35,125 feet above sea level, covering 116 nm in 20 minutes. The enroute level cruise began 47 miles north of Snug Corner and lasted 99 minutes, covering 683 nm.
The descent phase commenced 10 miles southeast of Saint Stephen, bringing the aircraft from 34,392 feet above sea level to 2,015 feet above sea level in 24 minutes, covering 124 nm.
The final approach to runway 36R at KCLT began from the south, with the aircraft descending from 1,269 feet above ground level (agl) to make a successful landing. The touchdown point was slightly beyond the touchdown zone, with a firm touchdown rate.
The total landing distance was 1,715 meters, with the runway rollout slightly misaligned from the centerline. After exiting the runway, the average taxiing speed to the parking area was 46 knots.
Overall, the flight covered a total distance of 938 nm, lasting 163. The aircraft used 16,570 lbs of fuel.
