Flight Score
Maintain a smooth pitch
When Vr arrives, an abrupt near-full-scale pull, pitch overshoots, a push, and an oscillation through the first 200 ft. It feels like “this aircraft is twitchy” but the actual fault happened before liftoff. The pitch trace needs to show a clean ramp during liftoff.

One stabilised approach gate for a circuit: six checks at the point nearest 500 ft above the runway after the base turn. The 1,000 ft gate is an instrument-approach check and does not apply. These checks are the approach's score.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 1,817 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 436 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The -0.07 G arrival is the firm side of smooth.
The rest of the report
The aircraft departed Inverness Airport (EGPE) from runway 05, executing a departure roll of 699 m which represented 38 % of the available runway. Liftoff was achieved at 68 kt. Ambient conditions were 15 °C with a wind of 2 kt from 270°, a cross-wind component of 1 kt and a tail-wind component of 2 kt.
During the approach the right-hand pattern was entered from runway 05, covering less than 1 nm in 14 seconds. The subsequent right-hand crosswind segment also spanned less than 1 nm, completed in 5 seconds. The downwind turn was 1 nm with an angle to the runway of 114.4°, followed by a downwind leg of less than 1 nm in 25 seconds. The base turn covered 1 nm at an angle of 84.4°, and the base leg was less than 1 nm in 14 seconds. The final turn was less than 1 nm in 9 seconds, after which the final approach descended from 81 ft agl to 39 ft agl in 4 seconds and met the stabilisation gates.
Landing was performed on runway 05, whose length is 1,817 m. The threshold speed was recorded at 65 kt. Touchdown occurred 420 m down the runway at a speed of 54 kt, with a vertical rate of minus 93 fpm and perfect alignment. The total landing distance measured 885 m, representing 49 % of the runway, and the rollout alignment was judged very good.
The rollout phase continued the excellent alignment, with the aircraft remaining centered on the runway centreline until deceleration was complete.
In total the flight covered 3 nm, taking 3, and consumed 1 kg of fuel.
The aircraft entered the final approach to runway 05 at EGPE Inverness Airport, descending from 81 ft AGL to 39 ft AGL in 4 seconds and scoring on the stabilisation gates.
At threshold the height was reported as good and the threshold speed was good at 65 kt, indicating an appropriate flare set-up.
Touchdown occurred 420 m down the runway; the touchdown speed was 54 kt, noted as a little fast, while the vertical rate was excellent at minus 93 fpm and runway touchdown alignment was perfect.
The rollout covered a total landing distance of 885 m, representing 49 % of the 1,817 m runway, and rollout alignment was very good.
To refine the already strong performance, reduce the touchdown speed slightly to align more closely with the target speed, which will preserve the excellent rate and alignment while further optimizing runway usage.
